As a pre-booked party of 6 we were warmly welcomed, our table was ready and we were given just long enough before ordering drinks. The staff were attentive but not over whelming and the food was excellent. We all ordered different dishes and the excellence was consistent across the starters, mains and desserts. Had we known the size of the portions we would have skipped the starters!
The only downside was the presence of two extremely large great dane dogs just as we finished our meal. They prowled the bar, putting their noses on the tables and perfuming the eating area with a most unpleasant aroma of damp dog. We skipped the intended coffee and further drinks and left.
