Three of us went on a Groupon, which experience has shown can be a recipe for small portions from a set number of meals. Not on this occasion. We had the full run of a wide and interesting menu, with an unusual number of fish dishes and other specialities which none of us had seen before.
The welcome was good, and the service remained so throughout what proved to be an excellent meal with some particularly tasty pickles (hottest lime pickle ever!) setting the tone for what followed.
The restaurant is small, I'd describe it as bistro-style, and makes a pleasant and intimate environment in which to enjoy the meal. The weather was chilly outside, and it could have been a little warmer inside but other than that I'd rate this as an excellent find for us, and a treasure for Devizes residents to enjoy.
