“The best tea/breakfast room in Wiltshire? ”
Reviewed 8 April 2014 via mobile

A little gem. Real tea (no teabags) perfect scrambled eggs on toast... Yes, the service can be slow but if in a rush you can always go to Costa Anonymous elsewhere in town.
Two tips: out of the cafe immediately left is St John's Alley, half a tiny Elizabethan street they forgot to knock down. And under the cafe a surprisingly good second hand bookshop.

“Usually Very Good”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

Have called before it has been very good indeed, lots of home made fare and the cheese scones are legend.

Called in on Thursday 6th March, but found it locked up. I hope it was just a glitch.

“Desperately need some help”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

Nice place but oh so slow because two people are trying to do it all and it just doesn't work.
At least four couples came and went while we were waiting, tables left not cleared, cluttered look put this place and the business into a lower league.

“Great little cafe”
Reviewed 7 November 2013

A quaint small cafe opposite the Town Hall. The service is a ,little slow but the wait is worth it. The food is excellent and the servers polite and friendly.

“Friendly service, lovely cakes and tea, terrible decor!”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

Grabbed a quick tea and cake with friends before we headed back to nearby Cherhill. The two members of staff (I'm pretty sure they were the proprietors) could not have been more friendly. Delicious cake was consumed and the tea was also very good.

My only problem was the decor, which looked like a cross between a five-year-old girl's bedroom and Dame Barbara Cartland's downstairs loo: a bit too much lilac and a few too many doilies.
