Simply stunning.

Bravo to the manager / owner of Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa.

What an absolute gem of a place.

I don't quite know if enough people of the UK know about your exquisite location. But my god they should.

I could write so many words. But I think it needs to be kept simple. Because it hardly requires any words. Except.......everyone should experience the beauty of Whatley Hotel & Spa.

Unforgettable experience.

Kudos to just a few of the many splendid staff members who made our stay above and beyond....

    We stayed one night on a good January special deal. Even before our stay I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the staff and this continued during our stay. Staff are all super lovey and helpful. The main restaurant was closed so the hotel offered a free light supper. This supper was wonderful. Delicious soup, a cheese board, bread and a brownie. We were quite full.
    Breakfast was also wonderful.
    W had been upgraded to a large room, room 8. It was huge but heating wasn’t working so we moved to a normal room, room 15. This was still very large and I loved it a lot. Lovely view over here garden, big bed and large bathroom.
    Rooms have thoughtful touches such as a tea tray and water and cordial.

    We went to Whatley Manor (our 16th visit over many years) for the New Years package.

    We were a bit worried as to how it would go, as the communication prior to the actual event was disjointed and in some cases wrong.

    However, having said that, from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, on January 2nd, we received the usual warm and friendly Whatley welcome.

    The event was well planned, with great detail given to the meals, activities, as well as all the little extras.

    The staff were amazing, everyone was friendly, very efficient, going above and beyond in some cases.

    For example; we forgot our deodorant, not a big issue, but when we checked with Sue on reception to enquire if they have an in their amenity pack we were told they did not. Next minute we get a call in our room from Sue asking us which we preferred. Several hours later when we returned to our room there in the bathroom was a can.

    That is what you 6* service.

    Well done to Micheal the new GM, you have a great team.

    Ricki Weston, Executive Chef and his team. It is so good that he, along with his team, come into the Lounge to explain the canapés, as well as some of the dishes during dinner. Brining the kitchen to the Dining Room. Nice touch.

    We also wish to thank; Connor, Liv, Manuel, Oliver, Sebastian, Darren and Matt.

    A big thank you to the Housekeeping team, the behind the scene heroes of any hotel. Each morning while we were at breakfast, they would service our room.

    My partner and I had an incredible weekend at Whatley Manor to celebrate my birthday.

    From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The spa facilities are fantastic - clean, well-maintained and a perfect place to relax on a Saturday afternoon. The rooms are lovely and we were so pleased to be find a bottle of fizz and a birthday cake to celebrate!

    We ate at the Michelin star restaurant and it was delicious - a particular highlight was that you start your tasting menu in the kitchen to see where the magic happens.

    The breakfast in the morning was equally delicious and the service again, outstanding.

    We can’t wait to return! Thank you.

    I visited Whatley Manor to enjoy a spa day at Aquarius spa with my sister recently. I just wanted to say how very impressed we were with the level of customer service. From start to finish we were treated like royalty and received such a warm welcome from the lovely Debs, who made us feel like we were at home! We were treated to a delicious welcome drink and hot towels (which were welcome on a cold morning) and then shown around the beautiful spa. Debs explained everything perfectly and offered us a salt shower which we absolutely loved before our delightful treatments with the equally lovely therapists. Our massages were just divine.
    Debs checked in on us throughout our day to make sure we had everything we needed and it was a lovely touch. We felt very spoilt and looked after! The lunch in the spa was tasty and we treated ourselves to some cake of the day! The ladies in the spa serving our lunch were so sweet and accommodating.
    We had the perfect day of relaxation and we will not forget our day at Whatley. We were expecting good things, but your staff exceeded those expectations. We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you Debs and thank you everyone.

    Went for dinner at Grey's restaurant and it was a wonderful evening. Warm welcome continued with excellent service throughout. Excellent food and drinks. Our waitress was great, even with only one functioning arm!!!
