Needed to stay in Marlborough and saw The Lamb on the internet. At £50 my expectations weren't high. A warm cheerful welcome when I arrived, the kitchen staff were happy to cook me a meal even though i arrived quite late. They care about the quality of the food served and the meal was good proper pub food helped down with Wadworths 6X straight from the wood. Whilst some of the decor is a little tired the room was cosy, comfortable and clean.Wireless Internet included. The full English breakfast was great and plenty of it.
I could have gone to a plastic, soulless, character less Travelodge or similar for more money and the cost of breakfast on top. Why would anyone do that when there are places like The Lamb Inn?

Room Tip: Stable block is a bit quieter than the main pub building.

Myself and four pals have just had a very enjoyable week staying at The Lamb Inn, we found the rooms clean, the beds very comfortable the showers good with plenty of hot water. The staff were very polite and helpful, the breakfast was superb, we ate a couple of times in the evenings and found the food good and plenty of it. The whole week was a very enjoyable experience and the golf around there was good too.

We stayed here for one night last weekend, and that was enough!.Dont stay unless you are really desperate. The whole place inside and out, needs a really good clean up,I believe some might call it characterful, but we thought it just plain dirty.

A clean and tidy room with a friendly welcome and free wi-fi. I like un-fussy places and this fits that bill. Marlborough is lovely.

Breakfast was big and well cooked.

Beer straight from the wood behind the bar! My husband loved it!
