Although we only stayed for one night, it was a night well spent. The rooms were gorgeous with cute bathrooms and extremely comfy beds. The room my brother and I stayed in - Stable One - had a lovely view of the flower-filled courtyard whilst our parents overlooked the well groomed front of the pub.
Although we didn't eat there during our short stay, we did have the odd drink or too which was enjoyable both inside or outside the pub. It is dog friendly and pub customers were gone before midnight so don't be too put off by the fact it could be noisy in the evenings.
It is just round the corner from the main stretch of town meaning everything is easily in walking distance. If you have a big car you might have the odd issue as both the streets and parking spaces are narrow and compact. Aside from this I cannot fault our stay. Overall, a lovely little inn that fits in perfectly with the town's quaint atmosphere.More
