Visited Friday lunchtime with my mum. Good food, we both had fish and chips. Nice interior but only one waitress so service was v v slow! What should of been a quick lunch ended up being 2 hours. Would suggest more staff

I know you can only judge a restaurant by visiting but our whole Saturday evening in early December was splendid. We were welcomed and given a nice table for two. The food was both imaginative and very tasty. The chocolate brownie for desert was wicked

Overall we had a very enjoyable meal and I would recommend it very highly.

Although the restaurant is extremely pleasant, the food was not great and the service very slow. Parking is an absolute nightmare with a 2 hour limit on most spaces, those places with more time allowed were all full up obviously. Because of the slow service we rushed to get out and did not have time to have the leisurely meal we had hoped to. Admittedly we were given free coffee because of the long wait. Not somewhere we would rush back to again which is a shame.

After a day at Ascot, the coach we were on stopped in Marlbourgh for a couple of hours. We telephoned a head as time was short to book a table, only to be told they did not open for an hour. I explained our situation and they offered to open the restaurant early just for us.. The food and service was excellent even though they had to prepare, cook and serve (as the staff had not arrived yet). They made sure we were back on the coach for our return journey home with time to spare.
We are all now looking forward to a return visit so we can enjoy the whole experience but not at 100 miles an hour due to our time constraints. Thank you Godots.

Myself and 3 friends came to Marlborough Christmas shopping and decided to try Godots for lunch. When we arrived at 1pm the place was totally empty there was not a single soul in the restaurant, and yet we were turned away because we had a baby with us. We were told quite rudely that children under school age were not permitted due to lack of space. What a load of rubbish! Godots, you will never again get my custom and I will be recommending other people dine elsewhere too!
