After visiting a relation who had been taken into a home we thought we would stop for a nice Sunday Lunch before meeting someone else later. We drove round Melksham a. couple of times
and chose the Bear as there didn't seem to be any proper restaurants. The only thing that could be said for the food was it was cheap, but terrible. We both opted for roast and the Yorkshires
were too hard to eat. Husband had a piece of beef resembling leather and the vegetables
were totally tasteless. I saw no sign of any service, wisely no one came to ask if we were enjoying the meal. I don't expect Michelin starred food at a venue like this but i do expect it to be edidble.

Stopped in here as I was in the town on business.
Lovely decor / atmosphere and swift service.
Usual good food and prices.
Would stop here again if in the vicinity.

Nice atmosphere, quick service and good food for the price. This is one of the best Weatherspoons. The way the seating is arranged makes it feel cozy.
