We found this cafe whilst cycling along the promenade. Good for cyclists as there is outdoor seating. Good coffee and cake at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

We live by vale park and think the cafe is a charming place. We visit in tne summer for tasty ice creams and in tne school holidays we visit for a treat of a plate of chips and coke! Staff are friendly andhelpful, its clean, it has its own charm. Dont tell too many people though....!

The café in Vale Park is nice. We had a coffee and scones both very good.
The staffs are friendly. So we sat outside looking over the River Mersey.
That was a mistake; some people just let their dogs walk round. At one time
we had 7 dogs walking round us. Had to tell one owner to get the dog away from our
Grandson. Round the café is notes “keep your dog on a lead”. The dog owners where regulars at the café, the staff did not tell them to keep their dogs on a lead. It’s a pity the dog owner spoil the place. Yes I do have dogs, three.

Vale Cafe is a charming small tearoom in a pretty park with views of the river over to Liverpool waterfront. It has a welcoming atmosphere with cheerful and friendly staff. It is an ideal place to stop off for a cuppa when taking a cycle ride along the traffic-free promenade, when walking the dog or just to enjoy a cream tea whilst the grandchildren run around.
