Just returned from a one-night stay at the new Premier Inn - Kidderminster Central.

It's in an unusual setting (the renovated Slingfield Mill in Weaver's Wharf) and luckily the designers managed to keep at lot of the features of the old building (beams, old brickwork etc) and use it to the advantage of the hotel - it has a very unique feel, lots of character whilst retaining the usual modern facilities of the Premier Inn chain.

The welcome from the host at reception was warm and welcoming - the new Quick and Easy check in is what it says on the wall - very quick and easy. The room was amazing - spotlessly clean, two huge windows, large comfy bed, all the usual amenities and a large sparkling clean bathroom.

We had a great evening meal at their Kitchen restaurant (apparently a new venture for Premier Inn) - one of the nicest steaks I had had in ages, cooked to perfection.

Brilliant night's sleep, the sound-proofing in the hotel is best I have experienced and the air con/heating was quiet and efficient.

Their all you can eat breakfast was probably the best one we had had at any hotel. Piping hot, lots of choice, Costa coffee, fresh juices - just great!

If you are in the Wyre Forest area and looking for somewhere to stay I would recommend this place to anyone. Parking is free from 6.30 pm till 8 am but then you have to pay, however even if you factor this into the price of the room, you will still find it incredibly good value.

Room Tip: Our room was great, and from what we gathered from other people staying theirs were great too - apparently no two rooms are the same due to the nature of the renovated building.
