Having had a busy day Friday and not getting home until 8pm we took the decision to go out for an Indian, rather than cook. Because it was later than we usually go out we decided to try the Paradise as it's quite close to where we live rather than walk the 25 minutes to the one we normally go to.
we had 1 chicken and a lamb main dish, both on the bone, which is quite rare to find. The service was very friendly, the waiter recommended the 2 dishes and were we pleased we took his advice. Pompadoms, a starter and a main each plus a rice and naan to share and 3 pints of cobra between us was £38 which we thought was very good value and the food was excellent. You can take your own drinks too if you wish, which will appeal to some. Some other Indians are cheaper, some when they have 'deal nights' on but based on this first visit we would prefer to pay just a little extra on what was a normal night for them and will definitely go there again.
