Went here on Wednesday at around 6pm after getting really excited by the food menu that has just been launched. Small menu but perfectly formed! Such good value. Had faggots and homemade cut chips with peas and onion gravy. A pint of cask cider. £7.00. £4.50 for the food. I loved the pub - it was full - proper pub. Small, intimate, friendly. Other customers were all chatting and stopping to ask if the food was ok. Food came quickly and the staff were so good at seeing that everything was ok for us. Not fancy but authentic and real. Loved it. Will be back.

My husband, a real ale fan, was in his element in this old-fashioned pub. There were six, I think, hand-pumps for ale and several for cider too. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't sit outside by the canal but sitting inside was almost like sitting in someone's parlour - really old-fashioned but cosy. The staff were very friendly. They don't sell any lager at all :) Not a pub to take children to.

Went for a few in the sun, really good choice of fruity ciders which is what I like. Lots of other beers but can't comment as I don't drink those. Chilled out and friendly staff.

wandered along for a quick pint, ended up getting a cracking burger off the BBQ and listened to n amazing guitarist while taking in the sun. Staff are very friendly, food simple but good, great range of ales to sample and while the afternoon away. Lovely spot by the canal too.

Weavers is a great place for real ale and great atmosphere! You can get a fantastic large pork pie or tasty ham/cheese cob that complements a good ale. My partner and I sit outside and watch the world go by overlooking the barges on the canal . Great place .
