“First Class B & B”
Reviewed 12 December 2011

My husband, five month old baby daughter and myself spent four nights in this lovely B & B. We found the whole experience very delightful, the owners were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and so accommodating; the breakfast was delicious (and allowances were made for myself as I have a number of food intolerances) and the room was very well equipped with a cot and toys put in for our baby. We would most definitely recommend it and hope to visit again in the future.

Booked in for one night as my wife and I were in the area 'passing through'. The owners were away on holiday but Becky, who was looking after the place in their absence, did a great job of looking after us and was really friendly and eager to please. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Free wireless internet was a vrey useful plus.

Despite being on a main road there was no problem with traffic noise overnight as there seemed to be very little traffic. We were woken when the rush hour started at about 7am, before realisiing we had left a window open!

The full English breakfast was great and set us up for the day.

My husband and I stayed at Corner Cottage in July for the C.L.A Gamefair, we had originally booked in for 4 nights but enjoyed our stay so much we stayed 6. The room was cosy and comfortable with tea, coffee making facilities, the bed was a double (we have a kingsize) so that was really snuggly. Breakfast was really hot and Zia made an effort to know exactly what we liked and when. Our hosts were lovely, genuine people and it was good to be made welcome and feel part of the family. Thankyou x

Allan and Marilyn let us stay at there lovely home on short notice after attending the area die to a family death. The house was lovely and clean and very welcoming, the couple made us tea and offerred food. The rooms were quiet clean and very comfortable and there was not a speck of dust anywhere in the house it was amazing and a very comforting surroundings. This is basically thier home and they have extended to people who want to stay a few nights and explore the area. They are both the salt of the earth.
I want to say that if you need a place to stay, book here and you will be looked after with love and attention and all for a couple of quid. Thanks to Marilyn and Allan for your help and all the very best for the future, we will be visiting again definantly. (it was even Marilyns 60th Birthday and she still got up at 8am and cooked us a full English)

I booked this B&B at the last minute as a break for my wife and myself, with my decision being based on the reviews on here. We were not disappointed.
From the moment we were welcomed by Allan we felt we had made the right choice. The house is a lovely cottage, well maintained, with a large garden and tables to sit out on when the weather is warm. It is fantastically situated close to al the midlands has to offer....Warwick castle, Cadbury world, Stratford upon Avon......yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of big city life as to be relaxing and a great wind down.
The breakfasts were outstanding and were served with warmth and a cheerfulllness that was obviously genuine.
Allan and Marilyn were the epitomy of excellent hosts....from the minute we arrived to the minute we left noting was too much for them.
All in all this place deserves more than the 3 stars given to it by the AA.....if there was a 6 star rating it still wouldnt be enough.
We will one day return, this time for longer, to enjoy the hospitality of the corner cottage B&B.
