Booked well in advance so paid less than £100 for 3 night stay. Modern practical room and comfy bed make this exceptional value for money. It can feel a little soulless compared to other hotels but other than that the only faults I could pick are no bathroom nightlight and the fan coming on periodically.

I needed "quiet and comfortable", and this Premier Inn (Redditch North A441) delivered. Very new so in great shape and smells nice. I was in Redditch for 4 days on business, so hotel was a place to sleep for me (did dinner with colleagues elsewhere around town). I had no need for a gym, spa, pool, bar/pub, business lounge, printer, or golf course (Premier Inn has none of these). QUIET ROOM! Truly ZERO outside noise. Looked outside at the busy road and heard NONE of it! Amazing (almost eerie). Heard no neighbors, no doors slamming, and no creaky hallway. Decent size room with: desk, task chair, lounge chair, tea kettle, 21 inch widescreen Samsung LCD TV. Safe and secure with wave-and-enter key cards for room and lobby entry. Wi-Fi free for 30 min, then 4GBP for a day, 10GBP for week. Adequate speed/signal. Easily controlled thermostat. Nice folks at front desk! The trek to Sainsbury's supermarket was further than preferred.

Restaurant next door was just fine, if a little light on character. Big, hardly a need for a reservation... I did a quick breakfast (breads, oatmeal, fruit, coffee) for 5.25GBP, and good ribs for dinner (though not typical American portions).

Somewhat minimalist room: towels for one, no in-room iron (get from front desk), no phone, no enclosed closet, no suitcase rack.

Room Tip: No worries; rooms facing road are silent!

With this being a new Premier Inn the hotel itself is lovely - very modern looking and with large family rooms. The adjacent Beefeater however is a different story! Very nice restaurant but they need to employ staff who want to work!!!

We stayed here for the first time for 3 nights from 16th December for visiting family. We used to stay at the Travel Lodge until it changed hands. Excellent value for money. We had a twin bedded room as it was myself and my daughter, and it consisted of a double bed, a single bed and a single kept under the double. Lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly. Excellently situated for the town, Birmingham and trips to say Worcester and Stratford. It was a bit too warm in the room at times but there was air conditioning which did cool it down a bit. Will definitely stay there again. We did not eat next door at The Beefeater, but my daughter-in-law says the breakfasts are really good especially as kids go free!!

This was a convenient reasonable hotel to stay for my visit in the area and within a budget. The Beefeater Inn next door served as a place to eat but nothing special. Rooms neat and clean and staff polite. Easy to find.

We had a 2 night stay at this location; our first at Redditch to compare with the many others we have visited across the country. A new branch so all aspects of the rooms were of expected quality with the one exception of the air con. I had requested a room on the "cemetery" side to avoid the frontage within yards of the main A441 and it had been pointed out at booking that the front windows were triple glazed and the rear windows were not normal openers although the road by the cemetery was quiet. It turned out that our air con was faulty as it was noisy regardless of speed. I was subsequently told that the air con could be turned off but without an opening window did not consider it an option for the second night. Was offered a refund on the first night stay without any hesitation and was moved to another adjacent room and the air con was silent on the second night.

We ate in the attached Beefeater on both nights. On the Saturday night it was particularly busy and was glad we had booked ahead. The service was slow but the food excellent. Our waitress, Sam, was very attentive despite being extremely busy. The impression we got was that they were under staffed for the amount of customers. On both nights it took just under 2 hours for the 2 of us to be served a 2 course meal from beginning to end.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the cemetery for a quiet night but if you want fresh air from outside in...
