After reading previous reviews I requested a 'quiet' room. I was told that the quietest were in the house attached, but we should have no problem with the room we had been allocated. To be fair it was very quiet, so no complaints there.

We did however, have to ask for soap, towels, teaspoons and tea bags, which were given to us without question, so again no real problem.

The only downsides were that the bed was a bit worn and there was plenty of 'roll together' and the toilet made an awful noise when flushed (this was not restricted to our room).

Overall good night's sleep, very nice room, good shower and plenty of tea bags when you ask for them.

I would stay there again if we were in this neck of the woods.

Being on the outskirts of Redditch not far from the motorway this is a very convenient location. ask for a room in the Old Farmhouse if you fancy a bit more character. It is quiet and peaceful -the only drawack is that there nowhere for breakfast. It is not too far to the motorway services, but I wish there was a better ooption.

Room Tip: Ask for the Farmhouse

If you need somewhere to lay your head for a night you could do worse... like most Travelodges this hotel is in need of some TLC, but you can't expect too much for the money. There was plenty of parking, the receptionist was helpful and the room quite comfortable. I'd have no qualms about staying there again if I was in the area.

I have to agree with previous reviewers that this is one of the better travelodges. We have stayed in some awful ones and said "never again", but reviews of this one made me give them another try and pleasantly surprised. I found the receptionist friendly and helpful. We arrived on a Saturday night and found parking our van challenging. The car park was full of customers for the pub next door I guess. In the morning quite empty. We would stay again, but arrive earlier to make parking less fraught!

Used an accessible room with wheelchair user. Spacious and clean, although the shower room was a bit 'aromatic' and the shower drain needs clearing - a long shower would probably flood the room! Staff helpful and quickly supplied extras requested. Room was quiet and we left next morning to continue our journeyn well refreshed.

The hotel consists of both new and refurbished buildings. I was in the new part, where Reception is also situated. A warm friendly wecome from the Receptionist, who answered my questions helpfully, was followed by the pleasant surprise of a clean, modern, spacious room. You have to know what Travelodge does and doesn't supply to have a completely successful stay, but if you are in the know (e.g. shower gel and shampoo not supplied), then that's fine. It was completely quiet; I couldn't hear a sound (but I didn't overlook the car park - see another review). The Meadow Lane restaurant next door was ideal. Two main courses for the price of one. The hotel and restaurant together suited my purposes, a meal and bed for the night whilst on a long distance walk.
