wish i could give a lover rating. just brought my lunch as last min. with a long overdue review. used to come here a lot when in school. but lately not so much. come at different times during the day and still bad. chip are hard n stoggy (reheated?). donna meat is pre cut so its all dried up when served. tikka resembles charcoal in taste and appearance. plus you don't get proper slices of meat, its just shredded so not really a mouthful. "battered" sausage is just coated, fish batter is soggy. pies are soggy and undercooked. burgers are greasy and dry. as i said been here a lot to give them the benefit of the doubt but im always disappointed. most the food is bland. there is always a wait as most the food they offer isnt even ready for service. the only good thing is you can pay by card, the portions are ok for the price and they do a loyalty card. i would much rather walk a little further into town and get something from riverside.

Local fish and chip shop that used to be excellent, but of late has been very hit and miss. Pick the right time, and you will struggle to find a better fish and chip shop, but at busy times, food tends to be undercooked. The Mushy peas would benefit from having some actual peas added perhaps......very watery lately

This is an extremely. Popular fish & chip shop serving a large choice of take away foods. There are always queues at peak times which are dealt with quickly by the professional & courteous staff who all know their jobs. All the food is fresh and good.

I like pats fish shop the service is good and the price is a little more expensive than average. But the chips aren't the best they aren't very good portions and the fish and chips isn't the best.

Worst chips ever tasted. Chips were old/reheated possibly from the lunch time session which we could not eat and binned on the way to the Brintins Arms where we had a great meal for cheaper.

Pat's Chip Shop appears the only chippy in the town, competition needed urgently!!!!
