This local restaurant serve the finest food using the very best of ingredients sourced from the best local and Italian suppliers. Dooties is a family run pizzeria based in the heart of Hollins Village, serving authentic Italian food and wine. Open from 9am, Dooties offers something for all to enjoy from a tasty breakfast, casual lunch or delicious evening meal. Owners, Damian and Rachel opened the restaurant in early 2017 after realising a dream to restore a dormant building into a vibrant business that serves it's community, and some of the finest food around. An old Co-op, the building holds much history dating back to Victorian times and retains much of it's original character, now combined with a modern and contemporary twist. Much thought was put into the design - a fully stripped back original wooden floor, tastefully decorated whilst maintaining simplicity, the restaurant is warm and inviting and boasts a comfortable atmosphere and the inviting aroma of freshly cooked pizza. Even the name is true to it's location; In the 20th century the name of the lane running by the golf club close to Church Meadows, Hollins was called Doots Hill, often referred to as "Dooties". Ingredients A variety of the fresh produce used at Dooties is sourced from local companies, whilst Italian ingredients such as Mozzarella and San Marzano tomatoes are purchased directly from Italy to ensure a truly authentic taste. An Italian pizza oven is used for most of the menu to make the most delicious, thin and crispy pizzas, garlic breads and pastries bringing you a little piece of Italy to Bury. A selection of wines and Prosecco, predominantly of Italian origin compliment the menu.

I kept driving past Dooties, always saying "I need to visit"...

I visited with a mate on Sunday, reserved a table and good job too.

Atmosphere was very good, albeit the tables were a little bit too close to each other for me liking. That said, the food did significantly make up for a otherwise very decent experience.

The service was polite and prompt.

Value for money - superb, especially as all pizzas and garlic bread are 12". 1 X GB with cheese to start | 2 X Nduja pizza with extra red onion | 1 water & 1 Peroni - £27.

The food was incredibly hot, literally being taken out of the oven and immediately on the plate. Very, very tasty. And extremely filling.

Was thoroughly impressed and would return!!!

We live nearby but only tried this place at the weekend, and we loved it. Very nice friendly atmosphere and a lovely restaurant inside. The pizzas were excellent and it is definitrly value for money. My only tiny criticism is the draught lager wasn't working but they had plenty of bottled beer so it wasn't an issue. Every single one of the staff made us feel welcome and were very helpful and nice to our little daughter. We will be going again!

My husband has driven pas the restaurant for months and he finally said let’s call in for lunch. wow what fantastic food. Calzone Pisa was wonderful and with extra tomato sauce.
Cesar salad was very tasty as was the garlic bread with cheese.
Price reasonable, can highly recommend.

We visited as a family of 5 on a Thursday lunch time as a spur of the moment decision, even though we hadn’t booked this wasn’t a problem. We ordered 2 tomato garlic breads as a starter to share. We also ordered various pizzas and a lasagne. The pizzas were lovely and came with plenty of toppings on them, the lasagne was very hot and also enjoyable. For those of us who couldn’t quite manage all our pizza they boxed it up so we could take it home. We also ordered a chocolate cake, a cheese cake and a scoop of gelato, which were also enjoyable. It was a very pleasant afternoon and we were well looked after by the friendly staff. Even though it was fairly busy we were given plenty of time to enjoy our meal and relax. Thank you, we will be back.

We visited in the day for a quick lunch.

Atmosphere is lovely, very chilled and you can see all the fresh pizzas being made.

We ordered pâté but unfortunately, they had just run out so we picked different starters which were both delicious and hot.

My partner ordered asparagus pizza and again, no asparagus so we had to amend our main also. The staff were very polite about it but it was a little inconvenient.

Pizzas were the best I’ve had in a long while, the ingredients are so fresh and tasty. We will definitely be returning!

Would recommend this place for the atmosphere and excellent food quality.
