Many years ago We came here a lot but not been for several years so decided to give it a try , the place still looks the same inside and out it was about 9pm and Wednesday evening when they had a set meal offer on with popadums, starter and main meal with ice cream and coffee to follow.
The waiter who took our order was the most pleasant member of staff but had a odour of bad BO, The popadums where not good almost like they were a day or two old and had a greasy taste/smell about them, chutneys were good so that was a shame.
Starter of Shish kebab was like those cheap pre-bought frozen ones from cash n carry all very dry and hard very red but not much meat flavour just horrid cheap spicy flavour, the mains were very basic style sauces like you got in the eighties but they use very poor quality cheap cuts of meat.
No Draft Indian beer only bottles - after we finished our food we waiting a good 5 minutes but no staff so went to the bar where 3 staff were all talking to each other and asked for our Kulfi ice cream and coffee.
The mango kulfi ice cream was the most enjoyable part of the whole meal not saying it was great and it was not home made but to be fair it was nice especially after the rest of the food we had, coffee was nothing special and did not bring enough sugar and staff all vanished behind bar so left the coffee and paid the bill and left this place - will not return here as far too many places to try for a meal out and this one just was not worth the even the £8.99 set meal as would much prefer it cost more and get good quality meat/food with real traditional Indian spices not cheap cash n carry meat and spices.
Also had a really bad 24 hours after leaving due to the use of poor quality spices used in our food.
