Stayed 1 night on a coach trip break. Room quite small but the beds were comfortable and the bed linen spotlessly clean. Bathroom very dated but again, clean towels and toiletries provided. Meals were buffet style and hot and plentiful. Staff were very nice and efficient. Would be happy to stay there again on a short break.

Hotel was o.k. but a bit dated and needing a bit of modernisation. There was four of us in party and our rooms were ok. There was a few bits and pieces on our carpet, crisps, piece of chocolate and chewing gum. The beds were fine though, comfortable and clean linen, ample tea coffee etc in room. Bathrooms were fine too, clean ample towels and shower gel/shampoo. Dinner on Saturday evening was good, the waiter serves soup and it is self service hot and cold buffet with a good choice. Desert wasn't so good though only gateau or fruit salad and by the time I went for desert the gateau was a bit bashed up. Breakfast was fine, again self service with choice of fruit juices, cereal and hot and cold dishes, toast etc. Not bad entertainment in Saturday night, pop music playing and a few games of bingo. I would say it is an o.k. place for a stopover but maybe not for more than a few nights.

Room Tip: As the hotel is on the main road maybe a room at the back would be better if you are a light sleeper but as I only spent one night there I couldn't say for sure

hotel is very shabby, rooms very small, bathroom even smaller, and the shower was useless.
its not near anything, no nearby shopping mall or anything. i went here on a coach trip with my 12 yr old daughter. there was literally nothing to do after we came back from our daily trip out. one night a guy playing music on a laptop from the 50's and 60's.. oh joy! NOT
Our dinner was at 7.15pm, by which time there was hardly any food left and the staff couldn't care less if they tried.
There is only one plug socket in the room, which i had fortunately seen mentioned on here before we went, so i took an adapter, otherwise you are screwed for charging 2 phones or tablets etc.. TV is atrocious.
its not somewhere i would like to go back to , although i could say that the beds were comfortable and warm...and breakfast buffet was ok.... that's about it. :(

We stayed at this hotel just for one night only, we had a comfortable room, with a nice comfortable bed, spotless bedding and fresh towels, the room was clean, the food was really lovely, we couldnt fault the food whatsoever, the full english was also lovely and it is self service, we enjoyed the happy hour at the bar 5.30 - 7pm, we stayed on a wednesday night and we had a bit of entertainment on the wednesday night, a guy singing, some karaoke, and a bit of bingo, we found the staff very friendly, the only downfall to this hotel is it is very outdated, really needs furnishing, the carpets were all stained, i dont know if they have had some flooding in the past but all the carpets are like watermarked stained nearly everywhere you go in the hotel, this wouldnt put us off staying again there
