We have been regular visitors for a number of years, usually having a spot of lunch in the cafe. Never had a bad one. Yesterday we visited and it was quite busy but still timely service in the queue. We had the soup which was lovely and a sausage and onion baguette, which was very nice. Scrummy piece of cake to share over a drink.
Disabled access is very good all around the garden centre and plenty of parking.

Went for lunch and it has improved beyond all expectations. The food was fabulous and service exemplary. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I went with my daughter today hoping for a lovely lunch, as we used to have before alterations.
Not warm and comfortable anymore. Before, we had to queue to get a table but today it was three-quarters empty. Perhaps the extortionate prices and just adequate food had something to do with it. I had quiche which had the soggiest pastry I have ever had. The tea was terribly weak and cold. The only thing any good was the staff. Won't be going again.

This restaurant needed updating but it's very disappointing. Following all the complaints of the excessive noise due to the wooden floors they have now put some pretty blinds in place, but it hasn't made that much difference. The main problem is they have squashed the tables far too close together so it just resembles a run of the mill cafe. It's very noisy also when the staff are clearing the tables, pulling the chairs out. It was busy when I last went with people using up their free meals Sage vouchers and that's the only reason we went. Food still good but very expensive. Will not be renewing Sage card again. Wilmslow Garden Centre has a much nicer atmosphere, nicely spaced out.

We went for a quick snack today. The lady serving was pleasant, there was along cue.
I watched a young girl assistant wiping tables with wet a cloth then straight to the salad bowl, same 'unwashed hands' and picked up a 'handful' of salad to serve to a customer.
No gloves, salad servers or standards in sight.
