Good food, good service, helpful and welcoming staff. A little cramped but otherwise very enjoyable. Loved the selection of cakes for this afternoon tea experience

Thank Rosemary S

.Was looking forward to this treat for weeks. Very disappointed. Expected to have home made fayre at least. Tea was fine. Sandwiches had cheese spread in them, scones were very small akin to supermarkets value range and the cakes were miniature shop bought (Mr Kipling)? No cakes on display which was rather strange. No interaction with staff, no one asked us if the meal was okay or if we required anything.

I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning. This was a treat for my daughter and grandson..... who was so disappointed he did not eat anything at all.

Went here with an Afternoon Tea voucher and we were not disappointed. Small, clean and comfortable traditional tea room. Proper leaf tea in a china tea pot to go with the china cups, saucers and plates. Plenty of food served on a cake stand - freshly made sandwiches, home made scone with jam and cream, small 'fancies' and a large slice of home made cake. We will definitely treat ourselves here again.

Having read all the really positive reviews we were looking forward to something a bit special but were disappointed. The quality of the food, especially for the sandwiches, was average and the Malteser cake was quite dry. The service was not good and the person who took our orders lacked any customer service skills and came across as a bit vague about what was on offer. On the positive side the amount of food for the afternoon tea was generous and there was a good selection of leaf teas.
