Rooms were very comfortable and clean and tidy.
With coffee and tea facilities as well as a hair dryer.
Service was good in the hotel and restaurant.

Good example of Premier's successful formula. Location on a busy roundabout is not pretty but handy for the M1. Very comfortable bed and well appointed for a budget hotel especially the large tv. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was good. Ask for a room at the back as there is quite a lot of traffic noise at the front.

One of the best Premier Inn's I have stayed in. The hotel reception is very modern with only a small desk and self check in kiosks which is really good when it comes to speed of check in. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was spacious with the usual purple Premier Inn branding nice beds with a great pillow selection. The tea and coffee making facilities could do with having more coffee and milk as we only got 2 sachets of coffee and 4 little milk pots but there is a One Stop shop on the complex open until 23:30. Overall, fantastic stay and the staff at this hotel are an asset to the Premier Inn brand.

Spacy room, nice staff. Good pub food at the Glass house next door. Breakdast was there as well. Plenty to choose. The hotel is situated in town centre, situates a lot of things within walking distance. Lots of things to do around Barnsley.

As Premier Inns go, this one is good. It's location just off the centre of Barnsley gives good access to the small city centre and the limited restaurant offerings there.
Getting into the place if you are driving is a major feat however. The parking is almost impossible to find and the municipal car parks outside are often full and also leaving you having to traipse across the road and courtyard to the hotel reception.
The overall experience is fine though, with the staff exuding the normal Yorkshire hospitality.
The breakfast is superb.
Not an unpleasant experience overall.

I booked at the last minute , The room was very clean and tidy but basic- no clock, but a really good bed. Very quiet so slept well. The staff were helpful would recommend. The only fault I found was that the towels were too hard and rough.
