Description: We're a great local pub / restaurant and live music venue. By day join us for a great choice of traditional home cooked meals including our all day breakfast and relax in our friendly and cosy bar area. By night we're a great place to enjoy a high quality amazing night out. On a weekend come along and enjoy some of the best local live bands around, awesome disco's and karaoke nights and some great offers on drinks!

Attended at the Beggar on March 23rd for a spot of lunch with the family. I was served by Alex a very pleasant young man who was working with an older lady. The pub was quite busy so we ended up waiting around 20minutes for our dinner but not to worry as the wait was well worth it. We was sat next to the open log fire which felt great and cozy! I have traditional Lasagne, my Son enjoyed the Steak & Guinness offer and the wife enjoyed a nice piece of homemade pie which was Meat & Potato. We was well looked after. The bouncy castle was up at the back for the younger kids although the back yard was a little disorganised the Manager who I think was called Tom assured me that they were preparing the Yard for Spring and opened the Bouncy Castle up due to many requests. Will certainly be coming here again. The food is definately worth a try but the drinks are a little pricey. £3.60 for guinness but the taste was great. Was nice to see some real ales on offer too.

There's no way I would take my family here for a meal. Some awful people drink here, blatant drug use and appalling language.

This must be the worst place you could take a family, customers stood around the bar swearing, funny goings off in the toilets, lads in and out of them doing things that are not legal, saw it with my own eyes. Soon left with my family, would never go near this place again!
