Description: We are a small and friendly licenced Tapas Bar situated on a quiet back street in Barnsley Town centre. Serving good quality food and wine and beers in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Our food comes in the style of Tapas meaning "small plate" in Spanish. Our Tapas are not just from Spain but from many places including a few from "home" Northern Tapas. We like to take bookings and if you reserve a table it's yours for the evening, we won't rush you. A warm welcome awaits...

I've visited this cafe several times and I really like it. I've only had breakfasts so far but I haven't been disappointed. This is a family business and customer satisfaction is high on their list. Really good coffee also is another reason I go there. Now I'm retired it will become a regular haunt!

Me and my other half have been visiting this cafe for just over a year now and it has become our most regular haunt.

The food is just brilliant and we regularly have the full English breakfast which is a sizable portion and comes with tea or coffee. Always a nice treat before the football in the winter months :)

It is very well priced for all of its items on the menu including the drinks. The cafe also sells bottled or canned beer, cider and wine along with soft and hot drinks.

The place has a really homely feel and the staff make you feel more welcome than any cafe or restaurant i've ever been to. We're always greeted with a smile and the staff always make the time for a little chat.

This is a must visit, even just for a quick drink...you won't be disappointed

Had 2 lovely breakfasts this morning. Excellent service, staff extremely friendly and accommodating to suit our needs.

Breakfast came to our table quickly and didn't disappoint! Big hearty breakfast packed full of flavour and left us stuffed! 2 empty plates and happy customers!

To pay just under a tender for 2 breakfasts and coffees is brilliant!! Cannot recommend this little gem of a cafe enough!

Will be returning soon!!

Café Ruelle is highly recommended. Give it a try.

The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and always serve with a smile. I've visited a number of times on my trips to town and tried a number of dishes from the varied menu and never been disappointed.

The Cafe is spotless with a welcoming atmosphere.

A real treat.
