Stayed at Clematis cottage this weekend and had an amazing time. Ollie booked the fat duck for us, and it’s a four minute walk from the cottage. Denise welcomed us and was so friendly. Lots of lovely little touches in the cottage (gin to help yourself to, breakfast in the fridge, biscuits and posh teas and coffees, lovely toiletries in bathroom). We even ran into Denise in the hinds head before our dinner reservation and she paid for our drinks! Such a wonderful stay with amazing hospitality. Thank you for an amazing break, we loved it.

Unbelievable is the only way to describe the way you feel staying here. From sun up to sun down Ollie made us feel looked after and that nothing was too big of a request. We stayed with two other couples for two nights. We dined at the Fat Duck on Saturday but on the Friday we had a chef cook in house for us who was recommended by Ollie. We wanted to enjoy the cottage as much as possible since the majority of the next night we were dining out. I highly recommend having someone come in and cook for you, it made the weekend so relaxing and cosy, a great and perfect 40th celebration weekend with great friends! Seriously can’t recommend this place enough, top class.

We stayed at Lavender house overnight as we where dining at the Fat Duck the same evening, we where meet by Ollie, who is a very pleasent young man, he showed us round and explained how everything worked where all the amenitys were and how things worked.
He contacted us twice prior to our arrival to offer additional services including booking the 3 michelin star restaurants in the area and various excursions,
The house was wonderful, clean , tidy , and included everything they had promised,
The whole experience was a delight.
Thank you Ollie for helping make our break so memorable

We booked for a weekend 2 night stay as we had a reservation at The Fat Duck.

Dormer Cottage is next door to The Hinds Head. So close in fact you can hear the hand dryers from the toilets! It didn’t bother us but if you are a light sleeper/want an early night it may!

The cottage itself it furnished beautifully with great attention to detail. Two small things we couldn’t find a bread knife (not a massive problem but the bread we were provided with was fresh so a normal knife was challenging) and there was no spare toilet roll. I’m sure if we’d needed more we could have called but 1 spare toilet roll left in the bathroom may be good.

There are no food shops in the village which you are made aware of. We should have ordered extra water. A complimentary bottle of still and sparkling was provided but for a weekend break you probably need more as a tip either bring with you or ask for more. We pre-ordered a few extra goodies such as sparking wine and mushrooms and all was ready for us.

All in all a lovely stay and we would return.

We stayed in the Christmas Cottage to complement our gastro experience at the Fat Duck and Hind head and it did just that.

The service we received from Oliver was brilliant. He was attentive and thorough in making sure we got what we wanted from our stay.

The cottage was well kitted out and a home from home. Not only was it clean and tidy. It was also welcoming and homely.

I would recommend this as a perfect option to help you enjoy the delights on offer in Bray.

We will definitely return.
