Dial House was a good hotel with a good breakfast, nice people. The hotel was situated in Crownthorne in a very nice area with a lot of woods. You could make there nice walkings. Only the place Crownthorne was very place and there were not many nice restaurants. If you decide to go to London you easily go to Staines and take the train from there, 30 minutoe to Waterloo Station.
The parking in Staines was not expensive, £ 3 for one day. You can easily go to Windsor, Ascot.

After spending the last eighteen months working in the local area, my time has come to end. During this period I have regularly (and exlusively) stayed with the Dial House Hotel in Crowthorne.
Every time I arrive the greetings have been very pleasant and friendly. The service in the hotel is excellent and the staff always happy to help.
I would recommend this hotel to any business or pleasusre traveller as a perfect location. The breakfasts are superb and will miss my mid week poached eggs!
Having now moved onto pastures new, I do hope if I have to stay away that I can find as reliable hotel as this one.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in order to attend a family wedding. We chose an Executive room as there was an offer on when we booked. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered help with our luggage. Our room was round the back with doors that opened onto the garden. It was a decent size and the bed was extremely comfortable, The shower had decent power and was easy to operate and set for the next time we used it, however the decor is a bit tired and dated. Breakfast was served speedily and was good value at £3.25. When we returned at 12:00 that night all the external lights were left on so there was no problem finding our way to our room. Unfortunately the walls are quite thin and we had a rather loud snorer in the next room. Then the guests above returned just as I was managing to get to sleep and we could hear the floorboards creaking as they moved around. If an upgrade is planned in the future soundproofing should also be considered. This was a perfectly adequate hotel as a base for exploring the area or, as in our case, just a base to sleep while enjoying a family wedding. The staff provide a good service and and are very hospitable but the hotel itself does need an upgrade.

I stayed here for two nights with my husband, sons (including the groom) and other family members when we were in the area for my son's wedding.
We arrived early as we had mixed up the check-in time but were greeted so warmly by the young lady there and asked to wait a very short time in the bar/lounge area as the rooms were nearly ready. We were offered drinks while we waited. Very shortly she returned to give us the keys and offered to help with bags as she took each of us to our rooms.

The rooms and bathrooms were all exceptionally clean, pleasantly decorated and equipped with tea/coffee making equipment, a fan and toiletries etc. I requested an iron and board and it arrived almost immediately and I was assured that I could keep it for the length of our stay.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable and in the morning we were greeted so pleasantly by everyone we came into contact with. Breakfast in the dining room was delicious, freshly prepared to order, plentiful and speedily brought to us.

They don't usually provide a lunch service but they were very accommodating and as we had pre-ordered it, they made us a beautifully presented selection of delicious sandwiches for when other family members arrived later in the day and we were able to sit and have lunch in the garden.

Throughout our weekend stay we had family members arriving and leaving at different times, room swaps, lost, replaced and found room keys and nothing fazed any of the members of staff at all! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone we came into contact with was incredibly friendly, polite and helpful in every way.

It is obvious that Syed the owner takes his responsibility as a host very seriously. He and his team are doing a wonderful job. Personal service and customer satisfaction are made a priority. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

We were welcomed by the very friendly owner who is obviously proud of his hotel. Although we were too early to check in, he was happy for us to park in the Carl park while we went to ascot for the day- plenty space in carpark. Upon chatting with the owner we asked if he could get us a taxi number to take us to the station at crowthorne. He offered to take us himself which we great fully accepted. Such personal service- nothing seemed to much trouble for any staff member. They seemed really caring. The room was freshly decorated, very clean and with a huge comfy bed. Breakfast was really cheap but delicious. I wish this hotel at the best because they have customer care and service spot on- it was great.
