“Fab Family break with family charm”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

I stayed here with my twins in the ground floor family room. Rooms lovely and clean with the loveliest luxury shower room. The most important qualities I look for in a B and B is cleanliness and this is soooooo Clean, Comfy, Perfect Hosts, Perfect location, the Best Breakfast ever!,,, and guess what Elvis lives here! We saw him! Mick and Sue were so hospitable, friendly!! Loved the location of this little Gem......Definitely be back!!

Room Tip: No tips as I know Sue and Mick will accommodate anything we wanted!

We had 2 family rooms booked. The welcome we got from Sue & Mick was lovely and made us feel at home immediately.
The rooms were very clean and very quiet on a night which is a big bonus with young kids.
Sue & Mick provided a well cooked breakfast and selection of cereals & fruit. Just what we needed for the busy day ahead.
They were very knowledgeable of activities for the kids and places to eat.
The b&b is in a prime position and parking was not a problem. They have holiday homes as well and we will definitely be booking one of these next year.
Lovely place...lovely couple. ..wonderful stay!!!

What a lovely B&B! We booked last minute as we fancied a day away to the sea side and I'm so glad we did. Spotlessly clean with great facilities and excellent hosts. The breakfast was spot on, beds very comfortable and the room an ideal size, looks very recently refurbished as the decor was very fresh and modern.

I would thoroughly recommend staying here, we had a very pleasant stay and couldn't have asked for more!

Stayed in the ensuite family room (double bed & bunks). Very clean & tidy and great breakfast in the morning. Parking outside hotel was very handy. 10mins walk to the harbour. A residents lounge was also available with a decent selection of DVDs

Upon arrival the first thing you notice is that the driveway is clear from any litter, the frontage is clean and tidy. The small porch in front of the door was clutter free and clean.

On opening the door, the owner, Michael Abbott, met us with a warm and sincere welcome and invited us in. The hall was warm and clean and nicely decorated.

We were escorted to our room where we were fully informed about the room, the hotel, and breakfast and told if we needed anything just to ask.

The room, like the rest of the place was immaculate with a great view of the sea. My wife and I have a pub with 6 busy letting rooms in Knaresborough and we are always attuned to our surroundings where necessary. I would be proud to show anyone to this room. – Faultless!
In the morning breakfast was served in the dining room. You could eat your breakfast off the floor. Nothing was too much trouble. Understandably, it is the quiet season and there was only one other couple eating. However, Sue (the co-owner) then Michael (after cooking breakfast) came to chat with us.

Without doubt we will return – Well done to the both of you!

Room Tip: Only stayed in 1 room - No 9 I requested a bath as we have 9 bedrooms but only showers at home. N...
