My partner and I stayed here last saturday night. The main reason we chose the Baysands was it's proximity to the Spa (actually much closer than we realised!), and also the cost element.

We arrived a little early and were asked to return anytime after the 16:00 check in time although we were able to leave our Car parked outside and also leave our bag, which was then in our room when we returned (a nice touch).

We stayed in room one, which wasn't the largest room I've ever stayed in but was great for a night or 2, with a very comfortable bed, a cosy duvet and lot's of pillows. There were excellent tea and coffee factlites, proper tea bags, a jar of coffee rather than sachets and decent sized cups, an a chocolate biscuit each too!

We were both rather nervous if staying in a room without en-suite but I can honestly say that this really wasn't a problem at all, room 1 is actually next door to that bathroom, which was huge, with a bath and seperate shower and some lovely toiletries.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was actually a little smaller than we had anticipated but was never the less very tasty and well cooked (really what did we expect for £45 for the night for both of us!!) and served with a smile by the owners.

We did briefly meet their little Cat Amber, and as animal owners we wouldn't have minded seeing more of her, however I would suggest maybe adding the presence of a pet to the website, just to forwarn guests with allergies and to avoid any future problems.

Overall a lovely stay and we would efinately go back, whether we were visting the Spa or not, and hope to stay longer next time.

Mal & Jane went the extra mile to advise you on attractions, where to eat and where to go for a drink. They were both friendly and couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfasts were hot and fresh and the room was bright and clean.
Had a wonderful weekend and would stay again and recommend this B & B. :)

Room Tip: All rooms were nice. Room 1 was nearer the bathroom.

During our stay at Baysands B&B we found that Jane, Mal and not forgetting their cat Amber was very warm and welcoming. From the moment we checked in with them, nothing was any problem. Both Jane and Mal took time to make us feel welcome and offered advice on the local amenities in the surrounding area. The establishment was well kept, the room was brilliant and the breakfast provided was great. our party included a 7 year old daughter who was treated brilliant throughout our stay. I would 100 % recommend the place to anybody and will definately go back again.

Me and my fiance stay in Brid every year for our anniversary and we booked baysands this year. On arrival we did have a nightmare with the booking being cancelled by the agency without telling us but still taking the money but mal (the owner) was very understanding and welcommed us more than anything. Him and his partner were very down to earth lovely people. The rooms were impeccable and decorated very tastefully in a very modern way unlike 99% of all bnb's in Brid. If you are intending to visit the spa or wanting to book a bnb for a gig or event at the spa this is the perfect place to stay as u could probabily pee from your bedroom window onto the spa roof....partly because the winds always strong in Brid but mainly due to been so close in location.

We wanted to spend a long weekend in Bridlington and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

The proprieter, Mal, was friendly and welcoming. He answered any questions we had about the area and gave some really good suggestions for things to do and places to eat. He also gave us vouchers for discounts at various local attractions, so we saved a bundle when we visited places lke Scarborough Sealife Cenre and Sewerby Hall.

Breakfasts in the morning were home cooked and delicious. Served with tea and coffee (I'm not a hot drink person, but the tea was actually rather good) and a glass of fresh orange.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the beds provided a good nights rest (once we got used to the seagulls!).

If we visit Brid again we will definitely try to stay at Baysands.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay , The owner couldn't do enough to help. Even gave us money off tickets for meals. We enjoyed fishing from the local sea wall and visited alot of areas of interest in the surrounding easy to get to areas. He has a friend who has a fishing boat , so if you fancy a trip who knows. 2 minutes from the sea and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

For price and cleanliness 2nd to none. And he cooks a cracking breakfast. Really made my old man feel at home with the dutch paintings reminded him of Holland where he was born. You can even park right outside the bed and breakfast which must have saved a packet in parking fees. We will definately be back to this one.
