My partner and I stayed here last saturday night. The main reason we chose the Baysands was it's proximity to the Spa (actually much closer than we realised!), and also the cost element.
We arrived a little early and were asked to return anytime after the 16:00 check in time although we were able to leave our Car parked outside and also leave our bag, which was then in our room when we returned (a nice touch).
We stayed in room one, which wasn't the largest room I've ever stayed in but was great for a night or 2, with a very comfortable bed, a cosy duvet and lot's of pillows. There were excellent tea and coffee factlites, proper tea bags, a jar of coffee rather than sachets and decent sized cups, an a chocolate biscuit each too!
We were both rather nervous if staying in a room without en-suite but I can honestly say that this really wasn't a problem at all, room 1 is actually next door to that bathroom, which was huge, with a bath and seperate shower and some lovely toiletries.
Breakfast on Sunday morning was actually a little smaller than we had anticipated but was never the less very tasty and well cooked (really what did we expect for £45 for the night for both of us!!) and served with a smile by the owners.
We did briefly meet their little Cat Amber, and as animal owners we wouldn't have minded seeing more of her, however I would suggest maybe adding the presence of a pet to the website, just to forwarn guests with allergies and to avoid any future problems.
Overall a lovely stay and we would efinately go back, whether we were visting the Spa or not, and hope to stay longer next time.
