Just returned from our first visit to The London, and it certainly won't be the last.
We were lucky enough to have Room 15, which has double aspect windows. One straight over the sea, and the other toward the harbour. The room was very spacious, with a leather sofa and chair, small table and dining chairs, fitted wardrobe and drawers and an enormous comfortable bed. Bed linen of high quality and everything matching. The room was spotlessly clean.
Massive well fitted bathroom, with lovely bath and seperate shower cubicle
Our room was on the 4th floor, but there is a lift, so no problem if mobility is an issue, although there are about six steps up into the hotel itself
Breakfast was fabulous, with a good choice and everything cooked to perfection. You can tell that they use good quality ingredients
Staff were friendly and just couldn't do enough for you.
Owner extremely nice and took time to chat.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone (infact I already have)

Room Tip: Ask for Room 15

A fabulous hotel. We can't think of one negative note at all. Hosts friendly and extremely helpful. Staff brilliant they greet you with a smile and cheery hello. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with 2 easy chairs to enjoy the sea view at no extra cost. I'm vegetarian and Margot went out of her way to ensure I had a choice of meals, beautifully home cooked as well as providing a veggie breakfast. Both of us will need more exercise to work off these lovely meals. Truly a lovely hotel and we will be back. Peter and Janet

Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view

We go to the London Hotel every year and have done so for 10 years to visit family living near by. It is ideally situated for the sea views (every room has one) and other amenities. It has modern en- suite facilities with characterful high ceilings and spacious bedrooms. The rooms are spotlessly clean and are constantly updated. There is a lift which helps my husband who is disabled. The breakfast room staff are friendly and efficient , the food arrives promptly and hot and my husband appreciates his full English breakfast. We will be visiting next year!! Thanks for your friendliness and helpfulness. Trev and Ange

We decided to stay at the London for a week for our honeymoon after our short stay last year and I'm so glad we did from our arrival we was in for a treat Margot and the staff had turned our room into a honeymoon suit with a bottle of chilled wine and a box of chocolates and there was evan rose petals on the bed. From that moment on we had the best of times from the exalent home cooked breakfasts and evening meals of which of there was always at least two great choices to pick from to the professional staff who went over and beyond to help you in anyway possible. After an exalent week we was sad to leave but not before booking again for our anniversary next year. Thankyou again Margot,Alan, Dave and the staff for an exalent time. Kat and Gaz.

This hotel is of an excellent standard. The rooms are really clean and modern. We stayed for a long weekend break and had one of the family rooms, which was really spacious and had a really large bathroom. All rooms have sea views. Breakfast was very well cooked, tasty and plentiful, with a choice of how you liked your eggs cooked. The service was excellent and all the staff seemed really friendly. We really enjoyed staying at the London and will most definately be back.

Room Tip: All rooms have seaviews, but the higher rooms have the best views. There is a lift if you cannot man...
