We visited the restaurant above the takeaway on a midweek afternoon so the place was fairly quiet.
The haddock, chips, tea and bread/butter was reasonably priced at around £6.00 but I guess you get what you pay for. My haddock was dripping in cooking oil, although cooked fresh it hadn't been left to drain off long enough. My wife also had a haddock meal which was indicated as being boneless but found around a dozen bones while eating it. The chips didn't appear to have been cooked fresh. On the plus side, the fish tasted excellent and the service in the restaurant was good.
The toilets are in the basement of the building below the takeaway and although clean, the hand dryers in both the ladies and gents toilets were not working and towels of any variety were not provided.
