“Absolutely spotless”
Reviewed 16 July 2011

We stayed for a week at the Blantyre guesthouse, Gina and David were very welcoming people, who keep a lovely clean house, the room we had was spacious and had plenty of storage for our clothes etc, the tea, coffee facility in the room was always topped up with more than enough supplies daily, the room was cleaned daily, bins, cups (even tho we washed them) and caramel biscuits(2) every day very yummy with a cup of tea, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast well where do i start, it was scrummy, just lovely, lots of choice from fruit, cereal, any combination of whats in a full english or have a full english, toast in abundance, plenty of lovely tea, coffee (various teas). all in all we had a lovely week and wouldnt hesitate to recommend this guest house.

We stayed here for one night in April, mainly booking because it is dog friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is spotless, it is very handy for the seafront and the owners are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great, we would stay again!

We arrived in Bridlington to find everything covered in snow. The first time Ive ever seen snow on the beach in the UK. The lady at the guest house was waiting to greet us and helped us with the parking. We were checked in quick and taken to our room which was nice and warm. Our room had a TV tea and coffee making facilities, a radio alarm clock and hairdryer. Plenty of towels. Our bed was warm comfortable plenty of pillows. The bathroom was small but all we needed plenty of towels. Shower gel shampoo and soaps provided. The toilet made a strange noise when we flushed it but we then realised it was an electric toilet!

The breakfast was the best Ive had anywhere in the world in a long time even in some of the best hotels. Fresly cooked local sausage. Best full english in a long time. It makes such a change to get a hot breakfast 10 out of 10 to the owners that were run off their feet with a full breakfast room. Cereals juice and toast available too.

There is a small bar in the lounge but we didnt use it. The lounge and dining room were nicely set out. There was plenty of tourist information avaliable.

We spent one night in Bridlington for the Status Quo gig at the Spa which is right across the road. I would definately stay here again.
