We went here for a meal on our last night after staying nearby for the week. What a great place, Friendly warm welcome, food was stunning & plenty of it! The lady who served us (Maybe manager?) Clearly works very hard & runs it perfectly "well done" Would recommend this place for a great meal at reasonable prices.Arthur (the dog) will add to your warm welcome :)

The first thought of the Ferns Farm Hotel did conjure up the idea of roaming chickens on a rural farm but this is easy to find on the main road into Bridlington. The hotel / pub / restaurant is a sprawling complex and it also features a gym and pool on site. The food portions are generous and breakfast was nice too with friendly staff.

We were staying in Brandesburton and were heading back to our lodge. We'd called in at the North Star in Flamborough (who didn't start food until later) and then tried the Ship Inn in Sewerby, (but they only serve food if there's a priest in the village and not a cloud in the sky), so we called in here on the off chance.

It was a very friendly welcome and the staff let us bring our dog in with us.

Three of our group had pie and I had scampi.

All the food was really tasty, but the pie was the nicest we've ever had!

I'd certainly recommend this as a place to visit!

Pub dog Arthur is also adorable.

Just moved into the village, thought Id venture round to my new local. What a welcoming spot!!! The staff are so friendly, Arthur the dog is always happy to see you, and an ice cold Kronenbourg awaits!! I had the veg curry for tea but as Id just moved that day and was starving I added the cheesy chips.....what a treat, they were sublime!!!!! During the day I had lost my sugar and they provided us with lots of sachets to go in our tea. I can also reccommend just popping in for a coffee, my mother is a conniseur on the stuff and she was thoroughly pleased so much so that she had a second cup. I havent stayed here so cant comment on the rooms, but a function room is also available as is a gym next door which has a super pool. For those of you who like sea food they do fresh caught local crab, well worth a try.

We held our 25th Anniversary party here and Kate, the manager, made our day exceptional. Her calm, relaxed and friendly approach was just what was needed. Her help in preparing for the party was invaluable. The room was lovely and the food excellent, a lot of our guests commented on it. I would definitely recommend The Ferns to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion or even just for a meal as the food is lovely and the portions out of this world. Thank you so much Kate
