We tend to eat at Indian Palace for most special family occasions. The food is fantastic and the service is very welcoming. Dont be afraid to try something different to your "usual" indian dishes. They offer a wide selection of chefs specials and we have probably tried most of these and I cant fault any of them. The restaurant is located near the old town area of Bridlington and parking can be difficult, but there is quite a bit of roadside parking round and about. If you are a lover of Indian food you must give this restaurant a try.

Went there with two friends at about 6.30pm. Restaurant was empty, waiter was rude and impatient, there was a bug on my friends plate which the waiter snatched off my friend, flicked onto th floor an slammed onto another table without cleaning it or apologising. The "chef" wore no appropriate clothing or headwear and was as rude as the waiter. Food was ready suspiciously fast and as not fresh. It had clearly been microwaved, had cold spots and all tasted extremely bland. My friend watied for half an hour to receive the beer she ordered on entering the "restaurant". After trying t persevere with the awful atmosphere, rude waiter and even worse food we decided it wasn't worth our time or money and on he 5th time (in as many minutes) of being asked if all was ok we stated it was not. We were not comfortable or happy with the food. Upon trying to pay for the small amount we had eaten we were surrounded by 3 grown men who worked there and intimidated by their shouting, rude ness and snide comments. We were then told to get out and never return whilst being chased by their delivery driver who stood at the window staring at my friend who hadn't even spoke! Awful place!

We visit my Auntie in Bridlington a couple of times a year, and have a eaten in pretty much all the pubs and restaurants in and around Brid over the years. As curry lovers who previously lived in Birmingham and have therefore tried all manner of curry dishes and restaurants we know what we like. My family and I absolutely love the Indian Palace.

Our most recent visit was Feb half term 2013 and yet again the service was good, the staff very pleasant and the food is first class. Meals were fresh, hot and we even had a free Baileys thrown in at the end of the meal. Chicken Tikka Masala was really good, and the King Prawn Madras the best I`ve tasted for a long time. Give it a whirl folks, you wont be dissapointed.

saturday night at around eleven my wife and i were walking past the indian palace and decided to go in. It said on the door it was open till 2AM. it was completely emtpy. The waiter directed us to a table and treated us with contempt. After around 3 minutes he asked are you ready to order we said not yet. He returned 2 minutes later saying ready now ? so quickly ordered. He snatched the menu form our hands. Because we had ordered water to drink he fussily removed the wine glasses from the table. As we waited for the meal he put all the chairs on the tabels. the starter arrived with one naan to share. he removed the dishes before we had finished. Food was a brown slurry and had a pungency and odour that was difficult to endure. We asked the waiter for more water he just tapped his wristwatch and pointed to a desk YOU PAY NOW he said. and started to vacuum. I paid the 27 pounds for water and slurry. as i was leaving no goodbye just the sound of a key turning hastily in the lock it was 11:35 .
