If you hate the commercialized beaches like Bridlington then this is for you. A long single track down, plenty of parking space and only £2.50 all day. The beach itself stretches all the way to Bridlington, unspoiled views, and a long sandy beach. It has war history too with tank defences and pill boxes, my husband was in his element. There is a van which sells burgers and drinks among other beach stuff, there are toilets there too. I personally loved the untouched nature of this beach, a lovely gem :) If you have young kids it's ideal as a day out. I found it very clean despite it's popularity with dog walkers.

We spent an enjoyable few hours here on a nice sunny day. We were suprised to see so many cars in the car park as the beach is off the beaten track down a single track road. The children enjoyed playing on the sandy beach and we were able to get coffee and ice creams from the van which also sold burgers. We took a picnic, no tables provided though. Car park £2.50 for the day and toilets available. A cheap day out as nothing to spend on apart from the food van. It was a bit of a climb down to the beach from the car but I think there may be some steps further along from where we climbed down. We parked on the cliff edge so not a long walk to get there.

If you are looking for a basic beach for kids to play on, ride horses ,fly kites etc then this could be for you.
Parking is cheap and facilities minimum (toilet block and fast food van.
For older folk the access down needs care.
The good thing is plenty of space to spread out.
A pity about the amount of litter around, whether washed in or left I do not know.

The sun was out, the sky was blue and not a roller coaster to spoil the view! Unspoilt beach, nothing there except a car park and an ice cream van. Lovely walk up into Bridlington.

Absolutley spot on...unspoilt lovely sands away from the smell of hotdogs & onions & the noise that you get from Brids main beaches , doesnt matter how many cars are parked up you still get your own private spot we loved it here and will definatley make it our regular
Even though this beach is dog friendly the owners are very respectful & this beach remains very very clean ,there is a van.that sells hot & cold snax & ice creams & also toilets x great for a family day out highly recommended by us x
