We stayed at the Lauralee in Feb 2016. The house is great, warm, comfortable with all the facilities you could need. Its only 3 minutes walk to the seafront and about 10 to shops and the harbour. We thoroughly recommend the Lauralee to stay, we hope we will be able to stay there in future.

“would definitely stay again”
Reviewed 23 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My wife, daughter and 2 grand daughters had a lovely time at this perfect 3 bedroom holiday villa which could not be placed in a better location than a 5 minute walk to the sea front, with a super market straight across the main road, a fish shop and take-away just around the corner.
2 of the 3 bedrooms (2 double rooms and a twin) had a tv installed. the open plan living room has a settee and chair + 2 reclining chairs which were a god send.
A large porch built onto the rear of the property gives you extra kitchen space, and a huge back yard which you could easily park a large car.
all-in-all I would definitely go again

“Ideal location with all ameneties close at hand, comfortable setting with great beds”

When we first looked online at this accomodation we were a little unsure whether to book it or not as the photos on the website did not offer much in the way of thhe WOW factor, we decided to go ahead and book a week in this property anyway, i would truly like to say that this is a real GEM and it was a great pleasure to have stayed here, There is everything you could wish for here from washing machine to cork screw the owner has thought of every need and has catered for this, the photos on the website really did not do justice to this lovely house, my kids were almost in tears on the day we were leaving, There is a 24 hour Tescos less than 200 yards away, the train station is 250 yards away ( although the train service is not very frequent , i am told that Northern Rail are trying to change this though, Plenty of decent places to eat , Plenty of places to visit we went to York railway museum, Scarborough, Whitby, Beverley racecourse for horse racing, as well as the great North Yorkshire Moors steam Railway with a visit to Goathland ( the setting for the programe Heartbeat and this was truly amazing to see the actual pub and garage used in the programe. There are plenty of pubs that stay open till late although most of the only allow children in till 21.00, although there is one located near the seafront that allows children in till 23.00 when it closes ( the George) next to the seafront overlooking the harbour, pool table and good beer and clean and tidy, Bridlington does lack a decent swimming pool or lesuire centre , but there is a new lesuire centre opening in 2016 on the seafron right next to the amusments, The property has lovely beds to sleep in and also a back yard areas if you want a BBQ ( wecouldnt do this as the weather was poor and it was raining) Two woilets also came in handy, we would most definatly stay here again if we camre to Bridlington this would be our first choice as the rates are really excellent for what you get and the owner is very helpfull should ou need assistance, Thank you James ( and wife ) for a most wonderfull stay in your property. Hope to book again soon.

“Excellent location...”

The property is located 10 minute walk from the main harbour /shops/amenities area ; close to the main Tesco. Close to the Railway Station and the coach station. The accommodation is as described , and does exactly what it says on the tin in providing all the facilities that you need. We thought it was nice and clean , beds and bedding excellent (we all slept really well). There are plenty of towels and kitchen linen. There is parking for 2 cars at the rear of the property ( just don't look too closely in the access alleyway!!) There is also space for patio furniture and a BBQ if the weather is good ( we were there at the beginning of April so not a chance to try it out) We used the conservatory area to sit and have drinks , snacks as it is light and airy and next to the kitchen and 2nd WC.
Always plenty of hot water, with a good central heating system, so even though we didn't have good weather we were always nice and warm ( didn't have to use the fire).
The carpets , furniture , curtains reminded us a bit of "visiting granny" but we weren't living in it , only visiting and for a break away from home it was brilliant. We have recommended it to friends and family who are thinking of visiting Bridlington, although one thing to be aware of the stairs are steep and the access hallway narrow , so we would be wary about recommending the accommodation to anyone with mobility problems. We had a great 3 night stay and if we go back to Bridlington would happily stay here again.

have spent a very nice weekend in lauralee with friends. The house has everything that you need and was spotless throughout. Central to most amenities in Bridlington, would definitely recommend staying here, in fact, we have booked for next year too.
