Stayed here several times now because I wanted somewhere my elderly mother who has mobility problems could use, though this year I stayed separately. The rooms ( all en-suite I think) get very booked up as they have a lot of repeat business, so book early if you want a ground floor room. That said, they do have a stair lift for the upper floor. The hosts are very friendly and with a no-nonsense approach. The value for money is good, the rooms are very clean and there is a good choice for breakfast - but you have to ensure you order the day before. Evening meals are available on the same pre-booking service but i can't comment because we didn't try them. Although not too close to the Spa we have used this place when attending an event there and it is still within walking distance, though I would recommend a taxi home! Was very disgruntled with the taxi company this year (they have cards at the place) as they totally forgot my mother's eturn from a visitto a friend and left her stranded and charged what I felt was an extortionate amount...but that's not this B & B's fault. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is elderly or with disabilities ( to a degree ...i am not an expert on this subject).....and I might add it has been used by others like myself who just wanted a place to stay when the Northern Soul weekender was on at The Spa and I know these same people have preferred it to some of the horror Bridlington B & Bs they have had previous experience of! It is also possible to pre-order the hire of mobility scooters here which is a big plus.
