We arrived on Sunday the 2nd of June and had a excellent wellcome. The assistant Manager greeted us on the Coach and than the tour Manager that is a resident of Bridlington.
We where told what to expect and one could tell this Lady has a superb personality. Her name is Corie and she lives up toher name. The Hotel is very clean the room are spaciuos and the food is excellent.we never had the same meal twiceduring the stay at this hotel. The waiting staff are very firendly and helpfull .Nothing seems to be to much for them. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We had a room at the back sorry to say the outlook was not grat the fire escape, but he you are not in the room long ,if you go out like we did.We had some great tours and the Tour Manager did look after us very well. There was a Telly ,tea making facilities and plenty of cupboard space so we where very happy.
I can highly recomend this Hotel to any one that wishes to go to Bridlington.
Opposite the Hotel is the promenade and only a few minutes away from the town if one wishes to go there.
Thank you Monarch Hotel one of the UK Holiday Group own Hotels.
Corie thanks for the Lovely time we had you made this Holiday perfec for us.

me and my wife booked the monarch hotel for the elvis weekend at the brid spa across the road.
what a fantastic hotel, steve the manager and all the staff were all so kind and friendly.
in all my years of stopping in hotels this was the most polite and nicest staff i have ever encountered.
we even got a drink out of a scotsman when we saw steve in town which is a first lol
all in all 10 out of ten

I love a classic red carpet with flowers on, I also enjoy a bath that fills up to my knees whilst showering. Classic 70'a furniture and a lift that used to take livestock to the abattoir in the loft scared me a little but I persisted and finally made the journey to my room. I think the room had a sea view but couldn't see anything for the extreme condensation on the window. Our friends room had a broken light in it what I can only presume was the result of the extreme Egyptian heat from the classic column radiatorthat was on full tilt for the duration of the stay. All in all a wonderful hotel, it catered for or needs and the bar opened until 2 although we were told that the bar was open all hours. Amazing place... You should definitely play your part and stay in the monarch. She's old and tired but can still do a job! Lovely stuff x

My friend and I have just returned from the Monarch hotel, having decided very last minute that we needed a break. Booked online Saturday morning, and arrived in the afternoon, excellent value for money and a lovely twin room with Seaview. Made to feel very welcome by the amazing staff, food was as good as many other places we have stayed, beds comfortable and hotel in a great location. Yes, the hotel decor is a bit tired but this is reflected in the price. The hotel is well situated for people wanting a level walk into town, the beach is across the road and the Spa Theatre just a stones throw away. My friend had stayed here previously with her disabled husband but it was my first visit, but certainly won't be our last one. A great Yorkshire welcome, especially from Mark and the Scittish Manager ( sorry I forgot your name), the housekeeping staff and dining room staff were all very nice too, nothing too much trouble. Excellent value for money and highly recommend, but don't expect The Ritz, the hotel is clean and comfortable, in a fantastic location which to us is the most important thing.

The Monarch Hotel occupies a fine location with views ot the open sea, the Art Deco Spa building, a boating pool and the mile-long south promenade. The building itself is somewhat dated but is constantly being sensitively maintained and refurbished. The one small lift can cause some delays but all the essentials are well provided for. The rooms are clean and warm and the beds are comfortable. There is a good choice of meals on the breakfast and dinner menus - nothing too fancy but wholesome and well presented. The hotel's best feature is the cheerful service given by every member of an experienced staff under the guidance of the efficient and hands-on manager; you really are made to feel especially welcome in an unusually relaxed atmosphere.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are on the front of the hotel.
