I visited sunflower lodge with my 2 children for 2nights on 13aug 2012. From the moment we arrived Isla made us feel very welcome,we were staying in room 3 and the kids were delighted with their sleeping arrangements especially with the plasma and ps2 directly next to their beds! The room was beautifully decorated and extremely well thought out with a mini fridge with fresh milk provided, tea and coffee and biscuits also went down well! The double bed was so comfy and had another tv ajacent to it as well, the bathroom was of a good size with a corner bath and shower, complimentary shower gel and soap. The B&b is ideal for visiting brid with a short 10 min walk to the centre, the beach 5 min walk. I would recommend this b&b to anyone wanting to stay in good quality accommodation, we are looking forward to coming back next year!

Me my husband & our 18 month old
Daughter spend 2 nights in the family room and were extremely pleasantly surprised by just how nice this
B&b was. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown upstairs to our room. The room was a good size with a double bed, a single bed then a cot for our daughter. She even had her own flat screen tv to watch, then we had a second flat screen over the double bed. Large bathroom, very clean and modern. Small fridge with fresh milk, tea & biscuits each day for us. The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous, farm sausages n bacon, nothing cheap. We were completely stuffed and set up for the day. They even made our little one a breakfast, ontop of the fresh fruit & cereal she was given.
The location was spot on, 5 mins and we were on the beach, 10 and we were on the main front. We were given a car parking permit and just left it outside the hotel as didn't need to drive anywhere.
I would highly recommend anyone to stay at sunflower lodge and we will definitely be going back.

Just returned from two nights at Sunflower Lodge! Highly recommend best B and B we have stayed in. Room very clean, spacious and excellently decorated. full english breakfast highly recommend! Isla and John a great couple, couldn't do enough for you, very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Location great, 2 min walk to beach and city centre. Only down side is that we didn't stay longer it was like home from home.

Looking forward to our booking our next visit!

Visited bridlington this weekend, and stayed at Sunflower Lodge. This was our second visit and again it was brilliant. Isla and John are really helpful and easy going. Breakfast was exactly what we ordered and of a good standard. The room was spotless, tea, coffee and milk plentiful. We stayed in room 6 which was lovely, if I had one criticism the curtain in the bedroom was not thick enough therefore letting a lot of light in, which is a problem during the summer as its light very early. In saying that we would definitely go back. Keep working hard John, Isla keep up the good work in making John do as he is told lol. See you again soon. Maggie and Gareth x
