Second time stayed here. Both times housed in rooms in the lodge. Very old building so rooms are quirky. Some bigger than others! Ask if you can have room 2 if available as it a much bigger room than some of the others. Rooms have everything you want ( including irons!) but I found it strange that they do not do food during the day even though the folder in the room has a menu in it. Staff very pleasant and breakfast Ok. however I prefer to be able to at least get a lunch in a hotel when i arrive so may have to try premier Inn In Ruislip in future.

Room Tip: Ask for room 2 if you are in the main building. Believe room in new block are bigger

I have stayed here a couple of times on business and would not stay here again. The rooms are small and dated - I know its meant to be a tudor lodge but a bit of updating on the furniture would be nice. The restaurant only offers bar snacks in the week which are over priced for what they are - £8 for 2, very greasy, tiny fish cakes and some leaves! Guests in other rooms can be heard all the time as can noise from the roads. On the first occasion that I stayed here, being a lone, female guest I was made to feel very uncomfortable when the receptionist announced "ok so thats just yourself for this evening in room 2" in front of a reception full of men.
will not be going back to this hotel.

Room Tip: if you have to stay here do not stay on the ground floor!!!

The website only shows the refitted rooms and areas, my room was very small and dated. The shower room was hard to move around in and it was not a nice stay. The breakfast and bar area are very nice and the food was nice, just a shame my room was not as nice.

We stayed one night, Friday 11th November. Chosen because our previous experience had been good, we won't be staying here again.
The room was very hot but we managed to turn the radiator off in the end. The thermostat control was broken off.
Whilst the room was a generous size and clean, the pillows left a lot to be desired, very uncomfortable.
Breakfast in the dining room the next morning was uncomfortable as it was like walking into a wall of heat. The breakfast was kept warm under warm lights so unsuprisingly the food was drying out, the sausages looked as though they had been cremated beforehand and the scramble egg was lumpy.
Service in the dining room was not a good standard, we ate our breakfast surrounded by our dirty plates as they were not cleared between. Additionally, the carpet could do with a good clean.
I did report the radiator and problem with the pillows to reception, but although the receptionist put the radiator problem in the maintenance book the pillows did not inspire a comment.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, try and get a room in the annexe, this part of the hotel is newer and the...

Stayed here with a few friends over the weekend as we had a friends party close by.

The hotel is small prob only 20 rooms however they a new self contained block out the back that has another 30or 40 rooms. The rooms are to a old holiday inn standard however this is no shock as they are very honest with detailing it's only a 3 star.

The main house has the check in and small bar and restaurant all was well and as it's a small hotel the staff were attentive and helpful .

Breakfast was lovely and did the job.

If people are staying here for a base to travel London I would say pay the additional 50quid and get a room right in town as if you not local you may not realalise that this place is a good 30min drive and tube in to central London.

I would use this hotel as a room for any requirements in nw London and would stay again if needed.

In my eyes prob a little expensive but I think you pay the little extra for the lodge factor rather then a converted office block.

friendly helpful staff and good location for local restaurants ( try Lavash). We were offered room change after lights didn't work and shower temperature couldn't be controlled. Second room was fine. WiFi not free as advertised and only terrestrial TV. Overall convenient and clean but would benefit from some maintenance. we were in furthest away annexe which was much better standard than the building closest to reception. So book 28plus room numbers.

Room Tip: rooms above 26 seemed better standard, annexe farthest away from reception.
