“Nice hotel for groups”
Reviewed 25 July 2012

I stayed at this hotel as one of several adults chaperoning a large group of students visiting London. Both students and adults agreed that the rooms here were large and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and was very quiet. There were plenty of towels, and the bed linens were clean and fresh. The hotel offers free wi-fi which was fast and easy to use. The location was excellent for a hotel not in central London. The tube stop is a few blocks from the hotel, and it's right on the Piccadilly line. Also, near the hotel were several small grocery stores. This was a huge benefit to the teenagers in the group; they were constantly thirsty and hungry during our trip.

The breakfast the hotel staff set up in a conference room for our large group was fresh with a good variety of cereals, breads, juices, teas, fruit, yogurt, good coffee, and muffins. The staff could not have been nicer. The lobby restaurant was also great, since a few nights we chaperones decided to meet for a late meal.

Hotel was modern, clean, great value for money. Restaurant excellent. Very close to Underground which took 50 minutes to center of London. And two stops west to Heathrow. Can't get better than that especially at this price. Staff were SUPERB. Couldn't do enough for us. When we arrived, we needed access to at least one of our two rooms, and even though it was only 9am they were wonderfully helpful and opened up one room and the other one was ready a little later. The staff and the price make this is a superb choice for non-millionaires visitors to London.

The Hotel is comfortable, clean, well presented with nice friendly staff, the resteraunt doea bar as well as al-carte menu's. There are local resteraunts and eating houses within 5 mins walk from the hotel and is well situated for all amenaties and transport links to the airport and the city of London. Using the Tube it takes about 25 mins to the centre of London and is well worth the money, we used the Oyster card system and found it to be of good value for money.
Would I stay there again, yes I would.

We have stayed at numerous places within London but by far for the value this hotel knocks spots off some other top end hotels. The staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable in clean surroundings.

Local shops make it easy to get hold of things and there are countless eating establishments close by.

The tube station is a 5 minute walk away with quick access to all venues around London.

We will be back :)

This is a perfectly good airport hotel. Location is great for an early flight. We had a rental car to return in the morning before our flight and the drive was quick and easy to the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The parking situation is interesting. There is a small lot that holds maybe 15 cars at the hotel, which is free, but if it is full they have a lot next door that they will charge you £10 for. There is also street parking and the guy at the desk said he thought they started ticketing at 8:30 ish. The first lot was full when we got there except the handicap spot which he ended up letting us use because he was locking the gate for the night and we were leaving early. Also worth noting, the men at the desk in the evening and the morning seemed nice and helpful, but both times the manager came up and sort of shoved the two guys out of the way to help us. He was also nice, but it did seem like a bit of micromanagement. They were all very kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

This hotel is about 2 blocks from a tube station which leads downtown and to Heathrow. We chose it because it was so close to Heathrow. The room (which was an executive) was large and comfortable. Not sure why they upgraded us, but we weren't complaining. Breakfast was included in our rate, but we left before it started on the day we had to get to the airport. They provided a take-away breakfast which wasn't great, but was something.

This is a good alternative to the fancy Heathrow Hotels. It is clean and just a block to the Tube Station that is about 3 stops from the Airport.

We were in a room facing the main busy street. We could hear both the noice from the street and the adjacent rooms. It was not bad, but would have preferred less noice. In the future I would request a room away from the street. The rooms a well appointed for the price and beats any hotel we have stayed in that is closer to the center of London.

Room Tip: Just one block to the Tube Station.
