Good place for travelling to Heathrow or out of Heathrow, easy access from the west country to pick up from. The only problem was you had to get a lift to reception from the ground floor which is quite hard if you have lots of luggage, especially as 1 lift not working.

Spent one night here waiting to pick up my partner early the following morning from Heathrow. Such helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately, after a 20 hour journey from Canada, her phone had run out of charge and she mistakenly went to the Travelodge at Terminal 5. They allowed her to charge her phone in the office and use the hotel phone to contact me at Hounslow. The staff here were also most concerned for us! Very welcoming and warm people all round! Thank you.

Room Tip: High and facing the airport. Fascinating watching the planes land.

This hotel is a very nice one and has been recently refreshed. The fares are a bit high as in the past was really more cheaper. Staff is very kind and rooms are cleaned, bed is very comfortable. Rooms are quite large compared to standard measures in London.

If you're flying from Heathrow it's not bad, good location, but it's not a good hotel. The bar serves the worst food I have ever eaten, it's just awful, further to this the local area is a mess and there is nowhere to eat. If you're using it for one night for Heathrow it's fine, otherwise i'd find another hotel.

We chose this Hotel as a convenient stop-over before flying from Heathrow. When we booked our holiday, we booked the Travelodge on-line at the same time so we got a great deal – 3 adults shared one room (there was a double bed and a single bed) for £29 (in total!!) and a single friend who was also travelling with us (but had a separate room), got the same bargain price.

Upon arrival, (even though we have stayed there before), you can’t quite believe how close the planes fly overhead yet, once inside the Hotel, you cannot hear a thing!

Check-in was simple and efficient with an extremely cheerful and helpful lady (Sarika) who ensured that our two rooms were situated as close together as possible. We were allocated rooms 618 and 619 and our friend who was in room 618 said she had a fabulous view of the planes going past overhead. There were only 2 lifts from the lobby (that we could see) and we (4 adults with hand luggage and suitcases), found it a real tight squeeze to fit in so sometime you do have to wait a while for a lift as there is a limit to how many people can fit in at any one time (so bear that in mind and don’t leave it till the last minute if you have to go in a hurry!!).

I know that a lot of Travelodge’s have had ‘face-lifts’ recently and had luxury mattresses added to their rooms and I am pleased to say that this was one of them. The room was bright, airy and smelt fresh. There was plenty of complimentary tea and coffee and a perfectly adequate and strong signal on the flat screen TV that was also in the room. In room 619, we had a bath and shower and it was all in a good state, clean and tidy with plenty of towels.

We went down to the bar area and had a couple of drinks, their measures were good and prices were reasonable and the lounge was a very good size and offered views of the surrounding area (which wasn’t too exciting but it was better than a closed-in room) and had highly decorated glass which was really nice. The seating was well spaced and ample despite the lounge being reasonably full. We didn’t eat there; but quite a lot of people nearby us did and the food looked good and appetising and all of the plates went back empty.

We had a great nights sleep in a perfectly adequate room. The following morning, we had booked a local taxi company to take us to the airport (they had been recommended by the Travelodge) and it cost £20 in total and that included a tip. There is a shuttle that is available and will pick you up from outside the Hotel but it is worth checking the times and frequency that they run (I think they start at about 4.30am).

As always, if you want luxury (and don’t mind paying the price for it), then the Travelodge probably isn’t for you but if you want something that is extremely reasonably priced, perfectly well maintained with friendly staff, then I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel!

Room Tip: 618 and 619 are well positioned and only a short distance away from the lift (which is good as you a...

First time at a Travelodge for at least a year and this was the last visited. Happy with arrangements and the free parking for blue badge holders. Always found this Travelodge to be suitable for an overnight stay. Room clean but very sparsely furnished. Needed an extra chair and storage. Can't fault bed comfort but would have preferred double to twin beds. Wet bathroom was excellent. Staff friendly and provided good service. Pizzas at café are good and is a good meeting place. Will stay here again when going to LHR.

Room Tip: Even being on inbound flight path hotel is quiet so no problem. Nice to have a room where you can &q...

Stayed here regularly for the past 5 years, most recently though over the past two weekends.

The rooms/beds & breakfast were great & staff so very friendly. Great value for money, and highly recommended.
