Room booked for 3 people. Plenty of space(2 x single & 1 x double). Bathroom fine, decent amount of parking. Is a little bit tired but you get what you pay for. Decent price and location. Staff friendly.

Well what can I say. The positives first the cooked breakfast was ok although it took them some time to ascertain we had paid for it. The room was clean and surprisingly acceptable. Parking good. Negatives: Very scruffy all round. The bar terrible like a 1950's holiday camp despite an old notice saying Real ales etc. Carling was their idea of real ale. Restaurant dirty including tables with crumbs and stains. Bed ok but thin blankets made it cold in morning. Shower dribbled only with luke warm water.

I went here because I remember it in the 60's as the Osterley Hotel owned by Truemans, a posh hotel with public and saloon bar it didn't have all the buildings outside it was just a mock tudor hostelry. If you want a cheap overnight bed it will fit the bill. Walk up to the Hare and Hounds by Osterley Park for a drink and a nice meal and then back to bed here, that way it works well on a budget. As others have said it is functional only.

I stayed in the little rooms on the ground floor. They are clean and functional if dark. These rooms were very noisy from about 8 am until 10 pm with lots of sirens rushing past but if you're just there to sleep at night then this wasn't a problem. It was nice having a bath. The staff were friendly. It's more than the stated 10 minutes from the station but there are regular buses going from the station that drop you nearly at the door. The price isn'd bad considering it's London and near Heathrow.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and could not get any rest and sleep, as there is a Banqueting function hall inside the hotel. They hold regular Asian wedding parties every week (3 times on average). Local residents have also made complaints to their local council. If you want a peaceful stay, avoid this hotel! Plus, they serve a disgusting fat-dripping English breakfast which will give you a heart-attack!

Well what can I say? We booked the night before we stayed and to be fair it was only £41 for a double room. We were situated in an 'annexe' (ie. Butlins 1950's type block). The room was dark and damp and despite opening the window fully we couldn't dispel the smell of damp... The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the bed was not fantastically comfortable, but our request for extra pillows was happily dealt with. The bathroom had been recently refurbished and was definitely the best feature of the accommodation. Parking was free. All in all a reasonable(isn) place to stay if you're just crashing after a night out!

I stayed there in September after attending a friends wedding because it was near the motorway so easier to get back home the next day.

We were put in the rooms above the pub not in the main hotel. On opening the main door we were met by a horrible smell of damp and this damp smell was also in our room. I went to use the toilet only to find wee stains on it. We checked out as soon as we woke up despite bebeing tired from the previous night. We Couldn't bear to have a shower in there and didn't have breakfast after what we had seen so far.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a reasonable hotel to stay in on the outskirts of London. We came across the Osterley Park hotel on laterooms. We didn't read the reviews when booking as we have both worked in the hotel industry for many years and we both know that reviews can sometimes be exaggerated and damaging .It's always best to judge it for yourselves rather than being influenced beforehand. The hotel is located about a 5min drive from the M4 and a 15 minute walk from Osterley underground station (located in Zone 4 of the underground, an offpeak day/travelcard costs £8) . The area seemed safe and I had no worries leaving my car there overnight as well as the next day when we ventured into London. They have a large car park with CCTV and you can park very close to your room.
Yes, the hotel is shabby in places and rooms are basic but our room (55) in the main block was clean and had all the amenities you may require (including Tea and coffee facilities). You can clearly tell that they are trying to improve the quality of the hotel, but this sadly isn't instant and does require time and money to do so .
The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them even when coming back at 1am and asking the night porter for an extra towel.

I would say that the hotel is between Travelodge and Premier Inn standard. If you do not like Travelodge and budget hotels than I would say avoid staying here as you will be bitterly disappointed.

We only paid £45 for the night so this does instantly reflect the standard of hotel we were expecting.
Reading some of the older reviews it appears people were expecting the same standard as the Ritz. Sorry but if you pay under £90 per night for a London hotel, what were you expecting?!

Would I stay here again ? I wouldn't say no, but I wouldn't pay anymore than £49. It's suited for those travelling on a small budget or want to be near Heathrow.

Only negatives were: thin mattress, 1 towel between 2 and the boyfriend had issues with the shower as the water was too hot (worked fine for me though). The hotel website does make it out to be better than it is.

Room Tip: Try and stay in the main hotel as they have rooms in a separate block on the otherside of the car pa...
