As an occasional visitor from overseas we have previously visited other pubs in the area - wish we'd started here. Comfortable seating, excellent well-kept beer served by friendly knowledgeable staff and relaxed regulars. The daughter of one even offered us (together with others) one of her chocolates - personally selected of course. It felt as though we had been using this pub for years. I especially liked the bar-mounted cask of beer, tapped to see how the level was bearing up. The sort of establishment you are told no longer exists. We will certainly be returning on our next visit to the area.

So in March, one of sw Londons finest music venues is about to wind up the wonderful Sunday afternoons live music and Sat. night live is to become a disco. Please don't tell us the Red Lion will become yet another bloody gastro pub ?????

Always a treat to see music at the red lion. Great atmosphere and staff. I particularly enjoy the 3rd and 4th Sunday afternoons of the month

This pub has top British Jazz musicians weekly .However the old punters who sit there every week, mostly in the same seats are not welcoming to new guests who want to sit and watch the music .This is unacceptable in a minority art form that should be welcoming .I call it the nursing home gig !
The pub itself is fine with friendly staff, although the Gents toilet smells very badly. also there should be some form of air con or at least a fan or two in the music room as the heat is stifling, for both patrons and more importantly musicians

Refurb is now fully complete, new carpets and gent's loos much improved. Still a very good selection of well kept real ales. Best bit though is they now take cards and do fresh pizza and coffee for mum! Music still a regular occurrence as well as annual panto and beer festivals. Pub is busier now as well.

I really liked this pub. When I lived in Isleworth, I went there quite often. Very local, but typical old school pub with its public and style. Good live music too.

Live jazz on Mondays brilliant. Big selection of beers and friendly family run vibe to the place. Highly recommended! Also pool tables and beer garden full of character.

Came here with friends to watch a gig on Sunday, average pub prices, there's TV to watch sport etc, a pool table in the other bar overall ok.

Finally has joined the Twenty-First century by taking credit cards. You can even run a tab which is dangerous. Forgot to mention the beer festivals that often run in the summer bank holidays where they have a huge range of beers and ciders most of them out the back in the old stables.
