The fact that School of Spice is always busy tells its own story. Interior is cosy with a friendly atmosphere and staff are always ready to adjust the menu to your liking. The food here just seems to have the edge on the large number of Indian restaurants in the vicinity.

A sad solo visit but what a good choice.

The building is an old school and is absolutely devine.
Really nice staff, a little busy but it is Friday night and obviously very popular.

Food was really good, best danzak and paratha I've had in ages.

Thank andrew w

Went here with local friends who go here regularly. Had lamb samosas followed by lamb Briyani and vegetable kulcha ended sweet lassi all very good right amount of flavour and spices. Really enjoyable and service was excellent. Will go again and try different dishes

Whilst doing a week's work at Shepperton Studios myself and a group of colleagues went to The School of Spice and were blown away by both the quality of the food and the warm, welcoming staff. I would thoroughly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in the area... truly delicious curry!

We ate as a couple very early (about 6.30pm) on a Sunday evening. It was surprisingly busy when we got there but was emptying out when we left. Not cutting edge cuisine but it was all tasty and enjoyable. Service was pleasant and relaxed. Hot plates would have been nice as the food cooled off a bit quickly but it didn't spoil the meal. No salad with the Chicken tikka which was a shame. House white wine sensibly priced and perfectly drinkable. Not necessarily a place to make a detour for but we both enjoyed it and would visit again if we were in the area. The couple at the next table were eating there for the second time in 2 days which is a good recommendation and their sizzler dishes looked and smelt very good.
