Fantastic hotel,

Got upgraded to a suite on the 6th floor a must for rugby fans during games.

Good food in the resturant.

Great staff at checkin and at the breakfast!

Easily accesable to London downtown. take one train that takes 15 min to waterloo station. and train station is 10 min by walking.

Hotel itself and the staff are great and the breakfast is very good. Cant beat the location and free parking.

However £6 for an hour of wifi is ridiculous, especially when so many places give it to you for free nowadays!!

Also if you are staying here with a family don't expect to be able to use the virgin active swimming pool. We stayed on Saturday night but you can't swim on Sunday with the children except between 2-3pm. This is after check out and although the hotel very kindly offered to arrange late check out for us we actually needed to be on the road by then. We'd just hoped for a nice quick pre-breakfast swim with the kids. This would put me off staying here with the kids again, i'd book into a hotel that has it's own pool with no restrictions.

I have stayed here several times and always end up fed up with the poor lift service-only 2, clearly not enough as you share them with the cleaning trolley. Secondly having to pay to get the Internet. Why oh why do we get charged by these big chains-surely they make enough money out of the overpriced drinks in the bar.
Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable but they lack any feeling of charm. I always seem to have problems getting the air con to work.

Staff at reception are good as are servers at breakfast. This is standard buffet fare with little imagination.
The bar is ok but on my last visit some one decided we needed to have very loud music which killed any chance of a quiet chat with friends.
Be wary of a stay during a rugby weekend as it becomes very over crowded, every spare corner set up for corporate hospitality etc.

As a corporate hotel it is up there with others of a similar ilk. Not the best place to stay if you want some thing with a more charming feel about it

Room Tip: Try and get one close to the lifts =otherwise you may have a long walk.

stayed at this hotel with son they automatically upgraded us to a larger room with two double beds and there was still ample room for out son to play with his toys. All much appreciated given that he has autism and needs the familiarity of his favorite toys and space to move around in.

The staff are polite attentive and accommodating, the food is excellent the rooms are spotless and the leisure facilities next door superb.

Very well-appointed room. Would have given five stars for a bathtub, but the shower was top notch. Loved the tea kettle, which boiled water faster than I ever would have thought possible. As a tea drinker with no interest in coffee, this was a big perk. Hotel is equally walkable to Tesco (supermarket) and the train. (Oops - no pun intended.) There's a health club right next store that you can go to free if you're staying at the hotel - alas, hadn't brought my workout clothes. The service was impeccable. The front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly, from booking cabs to supplying me with an electricity adaptor for the duration of my stay. Will definitely stay here again when I head back across the pond in April.

I have stayed here a few times for a large chain hotel the rooms are very comfortable and the bed linen is refreshingly soft and smells fresh. Free wifi in the lobby would be nice in he rooms too, its about time it came as standad for these prices. Breakfast is Ok, buffet style.

I stayed with my boyfriend for New Years, and despite him being a fool at times the hotel itself was lovely. We were upgraded by a gentlemen called Gordon I think to a room with a city view which as very helpful when 12am came, we saw lovely fireworks from all over the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable when we eventually went to sleep, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Bathroom was very nice and modern with excellent mirrors for make up and getting ready. We didn't wake up in time for breakfast, but even though we didn't receive our slippers due to a shortage, I cannot fault the hotel at all.
Can't wit to stay for valentines!!
