As a local with a young one, I've been to this restaurant on multiple occasions at different times of day. I appreciate how friendly the staff is and how much of an effort they make to accommodate special requests. Children are well treated, which is not very common for local restaurants. The pizza is delicious, one of the best in town. The location is fab just across from Marble Hill, so a great place to stop as part of a park day outing.

We have also had larger 'grown up' events here with little bites (off menu) wine and pizza. The price has been very reasonable, service attentive, and it has not been an issue to reserve a larger section of tables at the restaurant.

Having passed this pub/restaurant for the last 3 weeks at all times throughout day and evening, the seating area outside was always full and it just looked as if everyone was having a good time !!!( No I am being serious!!!!).
So we thought we would give it a go as we were looking for a suitable venue for some friends to visit next year for a good place to experience Richmonds atmosphere
We were not disappointed.
The service was quick and friendly , but were not rushed , we opted to sit outside but started to think it may get a little chilly .. we asked if there were tables inside , and were told one could be made available unless we fancied the patio heater being lit , which we opted for .
We ordered a delicious bottle of Sauvignon Blanc at £22 served in a generous sized ice bucket with lots of ice to keep the wine chilled to perfection, the tall sleek wine glasses reminiscent of a wine tasting experience in France , offered respect to the Australian bottle.
We ordered two salads one with walnuts and goats cheese , the other with avocado , gorgonzola and streaky bacon..both equally as good however there could have been more avocado 4 small pieces was not sufficient .
Being unable to agree on a pizza to share we ordered 2 varieties, they were thin based , crispy with lashings of ingredients and a good 12" ..my Napolitana had no cheese so I ordered some Mozzarella as additional topping making the £7 Pizza £10.
This pizza was slightly too heavy on Oregano but next time I would ask for less ..personal choice.
Tempted by the desert menu all priced at £5.50 we chose a peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake with a side of cream.
unfortunately it was brought out on a hot plate!!!!!! which was changed immediately by the proprietor. Two steaming hot coffees finished the meal and I must say this was the best coffee we have tasted for a long time we certainly were not expecting such a quality blend.
When we asked for the bill we were offered two liqueurs on the house as a gesture for the hot desert plate .
The owner has definitely got the formula right here and we are envious that we do not have such a pub local to us ..

This is great pub if you want a quick meal with excellent pizzas and other bar snacks.
Good range of beers including two continental lagers on draft. The staff are friendly and it has comfy corners to sit. No car park but free on road car parking after 16.30 and all day Sat and Sun.

That's a big claim I know...just to be clear it's not the best food in the whole world - but the pizzas are hard to find better even in Italy... The bar isn't vastly stocked with 200 spirits...but what they have is enough... Simply put add everything together - location - food - service - friendliness - Roger the owner and his wife - their super staff and this is simply an fantastic place for a meal...

Been here on a Friday night a few times. It used to be a Beefeater pub but you'd never know it. Good range of beers (continental larger and changing real ales). Food looks great and I hear good things about their pizzas. Convenient for those wanting to meet half way between Richmond and Twickenham.

Regular live music - great blues duo I've seen there a couple of times, very mellow and friendly crowd.
