Overall disappointing evening at the Bearcat Club which hosts stand-up comedy acts. Having visited the Club several times some years ago, turned up this evening and paid £15 each (eventually - having to wait outside in the cold with a rather surly 'bouncer' as apparently only 4 people were allowed in at a time to pay). One of the advertised acts was ill and did not turn up so the line up was not as expected. Two short 'infill comedians '- poor. First and last act very good. Plastic glasses at the bar although bottles of beer and wine were served - this discrepancy was discussed with the bar staff at the end however the logic was lost on the staff as much as it was on us. Beer and lager seemed over priced. Not good value for money and won't be returning.
