This adorable inn is BEAUTIFUL. Not the amenities of lets say a Marriott or Hampton Inn, but Modern in an old fashioned way. Had room 903. Room was IMMACULATE and looked like it had been newly renovated possibly? Upon arrival there were some "welcome" freebies in the room, a stainless coffee mug (free refills of hot coffee or tea!!), some chocolates, and a jelly sample from the KK Village and ice cold water in the fridge. Although the village closes at 6 (summer), as guest at the inn you can peruse the grounds, and in the room is a Coleman lantern to use in the dark! So cool! Fridge, microwave...I would definitely stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to visit. Stayed in the cottage and enjoyed easily coming back to our room throughout the day. The evenings are super quiet, but we were tired so it was fine. The room was very cozy and met all of our needs. The staff was unbelievable! They were very responsive. Beautiful countryside.

Room Tip: There are rooms available throughout the village. We liked the cottage because it was away from the...

Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to post a review of The Inn at Kitchen Kettle. I was happy to read that you enjoyed your stay. The Cottage is a great spot--just a little bit away from the "hustle and bustle," but still really convenient to the Village. Yes, it does get quiet around here at night--that is one of the perks to visiting the farmlands of Lancaster County! We look forward to welcoming you back soon. --Kate

My wife and myself renew our wedding vows last year for our 28th wedding anniversary. We were given a gift certificate for Inn at Kitchen Kettle Village. This place is fabulous place to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even call before we arrive to ensure that we were coming as we had a late start on our trip. The room we stay in (901) was fantastic and spectacular. The room had a marvelous bathroom with a humongous soaking bathtub. The stay include breakfast, small gift of jams and chocolate candy, and free coffee mugs The rates are pricey as you pay premium rates and the shops are pricey. However, they told me they go down in the off season(winter). If you don't mind paying a little extra money, this place is well worth the price. They had many types of rooms to stay in from couples to family.

Room Tip: If it is a trip for just two (couples) 901 is excellent along with any of the 900's rooms. They...

The Inn was very clean, and very nice.
*Wish I would have inquired as you do climb a lot of stairs if you are in the main building.
Shops all over this property, and a restaurant or two.
If I go again, I might try to look for something a little further from the main street.
The sound of the clip clop of the horse drawn buggies are not to be missed.

Hi there! Thank you for writing about your recent visit. I was glad you enjoyed your visit. Yes, hearing the clip-clop of the buggies is a unique experience! Yes, we do have a handful of rooms throughout the Village that are on the ground floor. The Kurtz House also has a service elevator that guests can use if they do not want to take the stairs. Do not hesitate to call next time you make a reservation and let us know that you prefer a room without stairs. We would be happy to help you choose a room that will work for you! I look forward to welcoming you back soon. --Kate

This is our third year in a row at the Kitchen Kettle Village. We love it and highly recommend. It's clean! When you enter your room, you are greeted with some of the Kitchen Kettle's delicious jam, crackers, homemade fudge, and a fridge stocked with waters. Breakfasts at the Kling House are amazing. We had the best server ever on this trip, Dana!! She was amazing with our children and just made sure that we were pleased with everything. We love this place and will be back next year!

Room Tip: Any room there is a good room!

We recently stayed in room 901, right above the quilt shop. We first visited Kitchen Kettle Village 4 years ago, and I said if we ever went back that's where we'd stay. It did not disappoint. The décor is tasteful and you can tell that cleanliness is a priority. The bathroom was huge, with plenty of towels of high Pottery Barn quality. I loved watching the action on the street, as the windows face the main pike. Don't worry about street noise keeping you awake; there seemed to be no traffic after 10 pm. Depending on who is above you in 902, you may notice noise from there as they move about. The gentle clip-clop of the Amish buggies is a unique, peaceful sound. Breakfast at the Kling House is an added bonus. We had the quiche and benedicts, and both were delicious. My only problem will be deciding which room to stay in next time!

Room Tip: 901 has a huge soaking tub. If you live in your own home, hearing the guests above you can be weird.
