We wanted breakfast, but it was almost noon, so we weren't sure we would get it. When we asked, the waitress told us they serve breakfast as late as 1 pm! We were happy about that, and the food was delicious!
Our waitress was a very sweet Amish lady, she was very helpful and attentive.

This restaurant has such potential and when you get the food it is good, but the waiting and service is unacceptable. We stayed at the best western so of course a breakfast is included and they offer a discount for dinner. We ate dinner one night and had or attempted to have breakfast twice. The food at dinner was very good, but the service was poor. Waitress took order and brought food but that was about it. No customer service (didn't ask how food was, didn't clean plates, had to flag down for check at end of meal, etc.) and at dinner the restaurant wasn't that busy. Now for breakfast. Food once again, very delicious but the wait was crazy. I understand that they are dealing with locals and hotel patrons but this needs to change. Hotel needs to have separate breakfast facilities. Since we had young children the wait was too long and we were told we could order and take out. The first morning we did this it worked well. Manager took ordered, was very pleasant and had food ready in a timely fashion. Everything we needed to eat was placed in the bag and the order was accurate and again very delicious. The following morning was a disaster. The waitress was so flustered by the crowd she couldn't focus and had difficultly taking the ordered. She Asked several times for order, scribbled on piece of paper and told us to come back. When we returned for the order 20 min. later she looked at us and said what did you order again? She scrambled around trying to throw a few things in a bag, but we didn't get half our order and nothing to eat it with (cutlery,etc.). Very unprofessional and kids so upset they didn't get their breakfast. This restaurant really needs to train their staff and learn how to deal with multiple guests at a time. I can image they are much slower in the off season and are probably use to dealing at this pace, but with the newly expanded hotel the restaurant needs to revamp staffing and customer service in ordered to maintain the business they deserve.

Because we stayed at Best Western we ate breakfast every morning at The Olde Mill. We knew the selections before we went there and our breakfasts were very good. We decided to try dinner there one night and wasn't very impressed. First of all the prices in the room folder were not the prices in the restaurant, They have changed the menu and we were disappointed in what was offered.

We decided to have our dinner here our first night in Intercourse. It seemed to have really good reviews and we had a 15% off coupon from the Lancaster County website.

It's a very small restaurant attached to the Best Western Motel.

Everyone was friendly and the service was fine.

My husband didn't enjoy his meal and I was served way too much food. It's supposed to be traditional local fare, but what we had could be found in most any restaurant.

I did hear that their breakfasts are very good. We did see many local Amish men eating there.

They serve large portions, it wasn't the best meal we ever had, and it wasn't the worst.

The best we would give it is average.

We ate the next night in Bird-In Hand, and the food was much better.

When we go back to Intercourse again, maybe we will try breakfast. We won't be back for dinner.
