“If you are 'On Your Way To Wembley - Stop Here!”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

WOW, what a pleasant surprise, we found ourselves traveling to meet a client in North London and were faced with lots of B & B's yet not so many hotels when suddenly up popped the Hilton at Wembley which is right next to both the stadium and the arena so a pretty cool spot.

Although the sign posts were not so good, eventually once we found it, the hotel was a complete surprise, we got a 5 star welcome, and upgrade for £10 and a really really spacious and modern room for £139 including breakfast which was also top notch...

The highlight was just being in this very unique space, the bar was really cool with reasonably priced champagne considering the opulence and design of the place. Dinner was over looking the stadium and Bobby Moore's stature, so full on for fottie fans of old and was seriously reasonably priced for what we had.

Obviously if you go on an event night you will have a completely different experience but on a down day this is a well worth while watering hole and overnight stop off point in the North London metropolis...

Great job the Hilton Team

My mum and I stayed here for the Andre Rieu concert at Wembley and, as has been said before, it is perfectly positioned for the arena! Mum needs the use of a wheelchair and from the check-in to a slightly lengthy check out, this hotel was perfect! We both slept like logs due to the wonderful mattress and pillows (which I peeled the cases off of to log details!) and everything else in the room was amazingly comfortable, easy to use and absolutely spotless as well as wonderful toiletries, robes, slippers and everything you need for a brilliant stay. The icing on the cake was the upgrade we were given to an executive room.
Breakfast was slightly chaotic on the Sunday but I would think the hotel was full, coupled with the fact that AR's orchestra and entourage were staying there (much to mum's delight) and, of course, we all wanted to eat at the same time! A very good selection of food for breakfast although we didn't eat in the evening nor have the time to explore the Leisure Club or roof top bar, BUT, I will definitely go back for a longer stay. All staff exceedingly charming and helpful. Thanks to everyone.

Room Tip: The higher the room number's last two digits, the further it is from the lifts, so if there are...

We were quite impressed with this Hilton. We were not at a Wembley event so, as noted, it was a bit out of the way but otherwise we were quite satisfied.

There were no issues with check-in. Fast and pleasant. Early check-in was no hassle.

The room was large, by London standards, very clean and was nicely appointed. One minor inconvenience: the inability to plug the blowdryer in the bathroom and having to do so in the common space. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure and temperature was very good. The rooms were well soundproofed and there was no noise from the corridors or adjacent rooms. Wireless was good. We didn't spend much time in the room so it certainly served its purpose nicely and with comfort.

We did not eat in the restaurant or use the bar. We arrived after 9:00 pm and were unable to dine in the restaurant as it closed at 10 o'clock. You could not order food at the bar. The bar was quite popular and very busy. There were no restaurants really nearby (we found some fast food's places the next morning that would likely have been open though).

The highlight of the stay at this hotel was the lounge. Firstly, the lounge was a lovely space with a great view and nicely decorated. Staff for both breakfast and cocktails were obviously very well trained and genuinely warm people. Breakfast was very good with a great selection of food. I was quite impressed. Cocktails was amongst the best Executive lounge cocktail hours we have had at a Hilton or elsewhere. That being said, one of the qualities that set this lounge apart from others was the calibre of the staff. (I can get food and drinks anywhere but making others feel welcome can be a rare talent.)

We were staying at the hotel on the weekend that the World Rugby Championships were being held at Wembley Stadium and there were concerts at Wembley Arena. The bar was extremely busy and loud on Saturday night; however, there was no noise leakage to other floors and the very busy events did not impact our stay in any way.

We would stay here again without an issue.

My wife and I were very pleased to have stayed a night at the Hilton London Wembley when we saw Andre Rieu at Wembley Arena. The Hotel is ideally placed right next to Wembley Arena and so makes going to an event there so much more enjoyable.

From the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted by friendly and efficient reception staff who deal with check in procedures very quickly. Our room was a King Hilton Guestroom on the 7th floor and it was exeptionally well appointed. The bed was very large and exceptionally comfortable. The decor of the room was perfect and all necessary facilities were provided. The heating was easy to control and a large flatscreen tv with an impressive range of programmes was on the wall facing the bed. The room and bathroom were very well equipped and spotlessly clean.

We took breakfast in the restaurant on the 3rd floor and this was very well run. The buffet choice was very good and of a high standard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hilton London Wembley and will certainly return there when we next go to a concert at Wembley Arena. It made the whole experience so very enjoyable.

We booked the Hilton as it was a perfect spot for a concert being held at Wembley Arena. We walked 70 yards from the reception to the Arena entrance. A good start to the concert!
Now for the hotel itself. The rate for our stay was inclusive of room, dinner and breakfast. We were an early arrival but were met by a very friendly receptionist who checked us in promptly. A booking was made for a 5.30 table in the Associations Restaurant so that we could make the concert on time. The room was just fine with modern touches and a spacious bathroom. The King bed was very comfortable.
The hotel had an issue with staff absences due to them being in a traffic accident. Despite this, the servers in the restaurant coped well enough especially as the restaurant filled up rapidly with pre - concert diners. The meal was excellent and a great start to the night.
Post concert, we went into the 3rd. floor bar for refreshments. A wide range of drinks were available despite a problem with beer pumps. A more realistic approach to this nuisance situation was needed in that having to buy two bottles of beer at £9 per two 330ml.bottles as against £4.50 per pint is not acceptable. The Operations Manager was informed of the situation on the next morning. He promised to rectify the problem. The service in the bar was generally good in what became a very busy area.
The breakfast buffet was what you expect from a hotel of this high standard. There was a wide variety of fare on offer and the place was packed with residents. Hot and cold offerings were in evidence.
Again, as with the meal on the previous night, the food was excellent. The tea, coffee and juice service matched the food in it's excellent and prompt arrival.
Reluctantly, we left the hotel after our short stay. We wouldn't hesitate to return and look forward to future visits. The staff were , generally ,excellent. Smiles were in abundance which always makes for a memorable stay.

Room Tip: Check the Hilton website for room promotions. We got a good inclusive rate and this worked out well...

Stayed for one night as we were going to a show in the Wembley arena. The hotel was clean and our room was spotless. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Got a good deal. The car park was next door and for hotel guests it costs £15 for 24 hours which is good value. The arena was simply across the small road. Perfect location for both the stadium and the arena.
I am temporarily walking with a stick after an injury and the staff could not have been more helpful.

We were on 5th floor and the only downside was that we must have been close to the disco because loud music was playing until quite late. However we were so tired that it did not stop us sleeping.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room I suggest you request to be away from the disco area.
